well, here's hoping that things will go well, I really love this shipset, specifically the orbital habitat being a small ring, it's really unique, it also is very fitting for one of my machine intelligence empires.

I'm thinking many shipset modders will want to save their energy for 4.3 at this point. Paradox is outpacing the modding community more than usual with their successive patches releasing several times per year.

Common issue with many mods - the common aspects they all share are two. The author has no IRL time/interest to play 4.x (not only to enjoy the game but also familiarize him/herself with the new mechanics and big changes since May). And second, no updates since May/June 2025. Big red flag that makes me put such mods in a 'to follow only' list, in the hope they are revived and integrated with the newest version of 4.x. Saved me much much time and compatibility worry.

so I've noticed this with this and some other workshop mods, I've tried quite a few things to fix it, removing and re-adding the mod, verifying the integrity of the game files, removing and re-adding all of the mods, even uninstalling and reinstalling the whole game, but nothing has worked, I'm unable to use the contents of this mod in it's entirety, wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issues on the latest version of stellaris.

Considering the author has very little discretionary time to devote here, I'll be very happy if Aryx plays a bit with Stellaris 4.x to familiarizes himself with it enough to make his mods great again. To try to ingratiate with the problematic mega-mods you've suggested is a time sucking blackhole- perhaps you could writeup a patch or two?

Do you intend on expanding this later down the line? I'm curious to see the base ship hull color have different variations, such as black, red, etc. Also, do you plan on making expanded megastructure models for other mods such as Gigas, Sparble, etc?

"busy with work and irl stuff" > absolutely takes priority! And sadly, usually doesn't get better... have you considered partnering with someone, for example from the 'Modding Den' collective to help with or takeover the burden of mod maintenance?

Since it is almost mid-Dec, and there is nothing in the 'Change Notes' since May - are we correct to think that you've given up on this excellent mod of your creation? Hopefully not, but if so, please consider your permission for another modder who actively plays 4.x, to take over and maintain this body of work. Thanks!

@Uledrith That sounds like a paradox issue, or an issue with a mod that effects or modifies the ship builder, like NSC. Machine Ships should be purefly graphical, and shouldn't cause the issue you're experiencing.

Cruiser doesn't work in this latest update. Once you research it, it doesn't show up as a ship to build. Go to ship builder see Cruiser is invisible. You can click on it, configure, and it appears, but doesn't let you save.

Whenever using this shipset I always notice that the "windows" on the ships in-game are nothing like what is shown in the pictures 26-33. The textures I always see are blurry. I'm not sure if this is a mod problem or a me problem since I checked the comments and don't see anyone else talking about something like this. Any help would be great. Great shipset :D

Hello, so since the mod authors haven't, I have updated the city set to the new 800x400 res which means no more "sunken city". I used a vanilla city set as a placement guide as well. The bad news, the files were blurry to begin with and my attempts to enhance them is a mixed bag. Likely the art needs to be retooled from scratch, something beyond my capabilities. Should the authors still want to include my updated files they can reach out to me and I can provide them with my work.

I do love the designs of these ships, but the shipset should be renamed due to the machine age expansion adding a shipset of the same name.

@ShintoYakura Paradox changed planetary graphics in the 4.1 update, up-scaling all the textures. This means any previous city sets that are not updated to 4.1.X will look small or merged into the ground.

Machine Shipset works fine on its own, after adding NSC3 and UI-Overhaul some of the ships cores got replaced with the Mammalian version. So at the least it sounds like an NSC3 issue, not a machine Shipset problem. I went back to just the machine shipset and the cores were fixed. :steammocking:

This mod mostly works aside from some ship types that have basically the middle section of the ship missing, to add to the pile of things to take a look at

As of 4.1, city sets and planet view received an update that made them larger/higher resolution. The shipset in this mod works fine, but it looks like the city set is appearing in the bottom left corner of the frame, so outside of the actual window view, due to not being updated for this change. I understand the mod has not yet been updated to the new version, I just thought it would be good to point this issue out for when that actually occurs.

It appears to mostly work, I can play with it without issue.

The only issues I came across in a short testing period were cosmetic issues from NSC3 stuff, which looks to have already been reported on.

This shipset still has that whole, missing pieces issue. It's only with NSC3 ships so, can you check it out?

Experiencing issues also. I've tried different places in load order etc. But certain ship sizes like the dreadnought and battlecruiser have missing sections or have sections that are reverted to the basic Mammalian ship set.
