So if I get this right, Zephyr gets +1 baseline damage, then no other upgrade whatsoever?

Damage bonus changes depending on armor, it does not stack. So Zephyr gets a TOTAL of +1 with mastercraft armor.

...but why. Mastercraft armor is the /second/ armor upgrade. Even without stacking that's a +2. it would be +3 WITH stacking. Why a +1 only TOTAL after /2/ upgrades?

I would love it if you could make Axiom melee only. Swap his shotgun for a glove and increase the accuracy on his Smash. He could be a more tank melee as opposed to Zephyr's mobile/dex melee.

I have fear factor on Axiom and it seems too overpowered since every time I hit someone I get 1-2 panicked.

I uninstalled this mod and havent had any crash since, this must have some compatibility issues with one of the other popular mods, I got 5 Mods.

Works with existing save but I've been crashing a lot since I installed this mod but I'm not sure if this one is causing it because I've installed a couple other mods as well.

Good mod. Axiom needed many buffs but Zephyr needed few.

You can give ammo utility items yeah, but you could also just bring grenade and other utility items.

AoE shotgun isn't guranteed 100% accuracy and you can't do it after a dash, and enemies all have to be close.

All I am saying is that Zephyr has her uses and she's perfectly viable after using her in an entire Impossible game.

There's also the other aoe ability.
But also, you only need 5 people captured to get the bonus. Any more than that doesn't do anything.

Don't forget that her attacks never miss as well, and they can bypass armor with another perk choice.

I don't see Godmother doing this from across the map and getting multiple captures as well. She will also apply debuffs as well on each attack, one of them being Stunned.

Godmother will kill, which in the early game you want to get captures for extra intel. Zephyr can do that easily with her 2nd skill perk to make her attacks always knockout on kill and will sprint across the entire map in order to do so.

This will give +2 late game damage to Zephyr, same has if th eglove would had to +1 upgrade like all other weapons, still lacking the epics ability from a would be epic gloves, but the Fearless Advance buff from this mod and Lockdown Inconsistency Fix buff from the other mod compensate.

@Crisp you can beat the game with any 4 agents on impossible without any mods.
A few agents a very underpowered compared to others.
Zephyr is the worse, because no epics weapon, no weapon mods.

The best mobility is grip + another weapon mod + ammo + agents abilities.

Fearless Advance now also prevents a targeted Aggressive enemy from acting. from this mod is a genius way to buff that.

Axiom and Cherub can use a grip late game so they to not rely on melee damage.

Lockdown Inconsistency Fix from the same also help.

You could use those the mods and put the other bonus at zero in the config file.
So zephyr and Axiom would only gain +1 melee damage.

Zephyr is my best unit on impossible honestly. Her mobility is insane and she trivializes "touch this" missions. She doesnt deal insane damage sure, but has great cc and aoe. This mod probably makes her broken

No, she's not.
In the 3rd investigation even on normal she is useless.
She can't have weapon mods, so there's no reflex grip, ammo mod, stock or anything really.
Patchwork can do the same damage, stun a group of people 100% of the time and at a longer range. She also has a weapon, so she can even shoot in the same turn.
Getting the +1 damage makes you give up her most powerful skill, which is not worth it.
Also, with all the buffs you mentioned, Godmother can mulch a whole room, while she can barely get by...
So yeah, she needs a seriouse bump to be competitive.

What are you expecting Zephyr to do? OHKO units that have 9 health or something? She already has 100% accuracy with huge mobility and momentum and parry capabilities; take the +1 damage perk on her punch and she can reliably take out 5 HP units, with a 50% chance to take out 6 HP units. She can also make her attacks count as subdue, trivializing captures.

Her attacks also have a chance to stun enemies for an entire turn, and can use Berserker serum to vastly improve her survivability. She can also be given extra turns through Cooperation, TeamUp and Motile Inducers. She's very viable, even on Impossible.

We need epic gloves for Zephyr. He is the only one without epic weapon.
I would like the gloves to have this ability from Zephyr
Pressure Point: Melee attacks that would deal lethal damage will instead render enemies unconscious. Melee attacks do +1 damage. Replaces subdue. (Unlock option at Field Agent rank)

If possible has a stand alone version.

I can see that Buy Goodbar. I like Zephyr, but she comes off as a weak melee only Ranger. Aside from the already mentioned issues, she lacks the extra potential skill an Epic weapon brings the the rest of the team members and nothing in her kit makes up for the loss. She exposes herself alot more to risk without much trade off in benefit.

What they really need is an accuracy buff, zephyr miss most of her reaction kick! her accuracy at fist range is lower than my average soldier at the 20+ range!

I guess I'm in the slim minority that thinks Zephyr's fine without buffs. Her early build without abilities is an atrocity, but once you get her late abilities she holds weight. Imo her strength isn't in her damage output but her cleanup. got 3 low HP enemies after breach? Reap and sweep.

I do agree, there should be an epic version of her gloves though. :psion:

Does this buff her aim or her "Lockdown" skill. The trailers even hype her Lockdown as a "devastating" reaction attack, but is anything but with a high miss rate and mediocre damage. Godmother's reaction shots with her shot gun are far more reliable and damaging. Stasis effect aside, Zephyr is performing as a substandard Xcom 2 melee range.

Honestly, I wish someone would just make some researchable and/or epic gauntlet upgrades for Zephyr, since she's the only one that needs them.

Honestly the Axiom buffs are kinda unneeded - I would only like to see his Smash damage scale better with Rage (as he gets more Rage stacks, he deals more damage with Smash.)

Zephyr needs buffs though - but I actually don't like that it buffs her equipped armor to give her damage. It's like, she has gloves equipped in her weapon slot, but it never gets replaced. I would rather have the option to get better gloves for her and tie the +1 enhanced, +1 mastercraft damage stuff to Pistols or Submachine Guns upgrades.

I agree with DPK. Axiom is a little too good now, he's doing like 2 more damage than Zephyr.
