@RedDobe - Thanks!

I think it was also an Advent Priest that was immune too.

@adampcloth - that’s actually not a tweak of mine. There are certain chrysalis with the Hive mod that are immune. The Stun lancers shouldn’t be immune as far as I remember there aren’t any mods that change that.
adampcloth Nov 20, 2020 @ 2:30am
It was!

On a different note, I am guessing that this is one of your tweaks, I am finding various ay's are immune to melee attacks. I thought this was just melee troops such as stun lancers however on my latest mission some 'lids seem to be too. Is this a random perk that gets added or can I find a list. From playing around the only place I can see if something is immune in the damage section of the display when it says 0. When I press F1 it doesn't list it as a 'passive' ability.

Thanks,

Adam

Holy cow! That’s a lot of buggers for sure! Sounds like a scene from Aliens!

The out come of the below mission:

https://easyupload.io/k6fwoe

4hrs for 2 crates and 208 kills.....

couldn't keep up with the 'lids spawning from dead lost so had to bug out.

Hi Reddobe,

Thank you for your prompt response.

@adampcloth - I really can't tell from the log. Crashes are really hard to debug. I once had a bugged out soldier that was causing a crash at the beginning of missions he was sent on. It took me forever to figure out he was the cause. I dismissed him from my crew and didn't have any problems after that. The best advice I could give is to end the mission using the console and hope that it doesn't happen again.

Hi RedDobe,

Been enjoying this mod list, thank you!

I have added I think 7/8 mods (fair lost targeting and the new repeater mod plus a few cosmetic's) but the rest is what is in your list.

I'm just on a supply mission, with the Lost, The Hive, Raiders and a few advent. I've spent most of the time watching them kill each other, though this has meant there have been a fair few Chryssalid births, I've EVAC'ed most of my squad out, however on the next turn the game is consistently crashing. I've two snipers and a marine in concealment and I think about 50/60 ay's mainly 'lids and a few lost. I think it's just to much for my computer to take though I was wondering if you can think of anything I can do to get it back up and running.

Thanks,

AdampCloth

@123nick - I am not sure about the first question. Have you checked with the mod author to see if there are any known issues with other mods. Yes, you will received red screen errors in the log. That’s normal.. you can safely ignore most of them.
123nick Sep 29, 2020 @ 2:24pm
also, are red screen errors normal with this? if u dont have -noRedScreens startup argument enabled?
123nick Sep 28, 2020 @ 1:57am
Can i use Iridars Spark Armory with this? it adds new weapons and equipment for sparks, and has compatability with MW.
TigerAce May 2, 2020 @ 7:41am
Yeah, I noticed just now my launcher was running XCOM 2 only, thats why the mods didnt load
RedDobe  [author] May 2, 2020 @ 7:30am
@Jcorn - those are false positive conflicts and can be ignored. If you go to those mods steam pages you can read about it. Point Based created equal only shows up when you subscribe to the mod.

I also could not find Point Based Created Equal in the advance options to enable, only the other 2

I found this when using the alternate launcher you suggested. https://imgur.com/a/1eHcNmV

Allright, I did that stuff now. Waiting to see if it will start and not crash =P Thanks for the help though

Mods are located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content

Though I strongly recommend using the alternate mod launcher https://github.com/X2CommunityCore/xcom2-launcher

You can right click on any of the mods that have subscribed to and it will take you that mod's directory in windows.
Saabynator May 1, 2020 @ 9:46am
Supposedly, there should be a "mods" folder in the gamefolder somewhere, but I can not find it, its not where it is suppose to be. But I subbed on all your mods, so they should be somewhere.
Saabynator May 1, 2020 @ 9:37am
I can find several of the XComAI ini files, but they are all on the DLC folders config.
Saabynator May 1, 2020 @ 9:36am
I cant find "A Better AI.WOTC" anywhere to config. I looked through all the game folder. If I try and seek for it, it does not come up at all. Weird. I tried starting to game to see if it had to make itselkf when that happened, but still nothing.
RedDobe  [author] May 1, 2020 @ 9:30am
Are you in the XComAI.ini in A Better AI:WOTC?
Saabynator May 1, 2020 @ 9:19am
I find alot of lines on berserker, no lines for any of the others. There is no lines with - or + in them, at the start of the sentense. So a bit confused here =( Mine looks like this:

Behaviors=(BehaviorName="Berserker::CharacterRoot", NodeType=Selector, Child[0]=TryJobUnsafe, Child[1]=GenericGreenMovement, Child[2]=BerserkerMeleeRedAlert, Child[3]=GenericAlertHandler)
Behaviors=(BehaviorName=BerserkerMeleeRedAlert, NodeType=Sequence, Child[0]=IsRedAlert, Child[1]=Berserker_RedAbilitySelector)
Behaviors=(BehaviorName=Berserker_RedAbilitySelector, NodeType=Selector, Child[0]=MimicBeaconBehavior, Child[1]=BerserkerRedFirstAction, Child[2]=BerserkerRedLastAction);
Behaviors=(BehaviorName=BerserkerRedFirstAction, NodeType=Sequence, Child[0]=NotLastActionPoint, Child[1]=BerserkerRedFirstActionSelector)

There a couple of lines like this. But I dont think it looks like anything you typed. Explain it liek I am retarded =P If you got the time.
RedDobe  [author] May 1, 2020 @ 9:05am
No problem. You’ll need to place a semicolon in front of the character root lines for each of those characters. The example I displayed just shows what it would look like for one character. There are two lines for each character, one with a minus in front and one with plus in front. Comment out those two lines for the characters that I specified.
RedDobe  [author] May 1, 2020 @ 9:01am
Sorry I realized what happened. I updated the mod and it reset the name back to zzzzMyPersonalMod. ModBuddy has this nice way of resetting the title and description each time you update the mod. I have renamed it back.
Saabynator May 1, 2020 @ 9:01am
When you say comment out those 4 things. Do you mean delete any instance where it says those words in the ini file? Or do you delete whole sentenses? Sorry to be so annoying, but I am not to trained in this stuff =/
RedDobe  [author] May 1, 2020 @ 8:57am
No it’s lterally called RedDobe V6.0 game tweaks.
Saabynator May 1, 2020 @ 8:13am
Or is it just the yellow alert gameplay one?
Saabynator May 1, 2020 @ 8:11am
Ahh, so its basically all the mods you created? As in, you as creator.
RedDobe  [author] May 1, 2020 @ 7:37am
It’s in the modlist, control f and type RedDobe, it should be grouped my other mods.
Saabynator May 1, 2020 @ 6:53am
Maybe I am dense. But I cant find the gameplay mod your talking about in your description?
RedDobe  [author] Apr 30, 2020 @ 10:05am
Just add a semi-colin in front of the line.
MyBuddy Apr 30, 2020 @ 9:05am
what do you mean comment out the character lines, ? delete?
nisida Apr 29, 2020 @ 9:54pm
Great list
edited INI is very nice
