@NoOne_ReaVen
could you maybe use the animations from the rocket launcher firing from the EXO suit, it'd look a bit janky but might work
I am not sure if the Sectoid weapon is a weapon itself (if so whats is the template name?) or just a firing animation from its wrists. Regardless I have yet to successfully get another weapon to fire/use animations of another with WSR even though I use WSR to replace a ton of weapons and such.
The creator or WSR or any other experienced Xcom2 mod maker to attempt or answer theses questions.
I would try doing something with WSR, but Im a dunce in terms of programming so better try yourself.
I dont really think It will take a lot or effort, I believe the animations are already available (Sectoid) someone would just need to use them on a tiny or invisible model (suggest using a small/tiny MG heavy weapon model) and allow xcom people to use them as a primary weapon. Then use the projectiles/fx from one of the many starwars blaster mods.
Then again I do not know much of anything about xcom modding, this is all just speculation.
I think I heard one for BX Commando in someone's let's play againts CIS.
Do these use regular weapons or are wrist mounted ones on the way?
