I think it's broken :(
Kishin Nov 13, 2023 @ 4:20pm
how about making a new one?
innosteve  [author] Nov 13, 2023 @ 4:17pm
@Kishin
Thank you :D Lifting large builds is always a bit annoying in this game. I put a lot of time into maintaining the MK88 and this with one I felt like it was simply not happening as the physics did not want to work for it with the newer updates.
Kishin Nov 13, 2023 @ 4:08pm
Fair. still, awesome build
innosteve  [author] Nov 13, 2023 @ 12:40pm
@Kishin
Definitely not XD
Kishin Nov 9, 2023 @ 8:38pm
would you consider on fixing it?
colinel Oct 9, 2023 @ 1:04pm
Wow! I can't believe there's a Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1, built by the German company Liebherr Group, with a lifting capacity of 1,200 metric tons - that's nearly 700 automobiles!

Thank You :D

bro i am making the exact same crane and i thought mine was very good and then i saw this on the work shop and your tower crane aswel and they just blew me away they are epic:steamhappy:

@TheDutchRecon Mate are you planning to upload Demag AC 1000 anytime soon>? I wish OP somehow fix this crane for current version!!
TheDutchRecon Dec 22, 2022 @ 11:55am
Oh i feel ya. Have a Demag AC 1000 functionally done. At least functional in concept. One time it works other times it doesn't. The physics jittery because you cant inherit physics from the root obj is just infuriating.
innosteve  [author] Dec 22, 2022 @ 11:29am
@TheDutchRecon
Thank you. It used to work much better. I stopped with cranes too for the same reason. I have one design I might release at some point but at the moment I am kind of frustrated with the game as a whole.
TheDutchRecon Dec 20, 2022 @ 1:59pm
Great design mate.

To bad the game doesn't handle it quiet well.
I stopped designing big cranes because i just got to frustrated with it but somehow you managed to pull trough.
legobrammetje Oct 5, 2021 @ 12:19pm
It has worked, thank you for your help.
legobrammetje Oct 4, 2021 @ 2:22am
Thanks, the reason for this question was because the magnets were not liking the new versions so i had to permantly fix the boom on the uppercarrige to make it not bounce and flip. I wil let you know if this has worked.
innosteve  [author] Oct 2, 2021 @ 2:23pm
@legobrammetje
It's definitely not made for it and unfortunately quite some time has passed since I have created this crane so bear with me. The following steps should get you to your desired result (I didnt say it was easy):

1. Disconnect the "APS" and "Drive BWD" Bool cables going from the setup assistant to the LPS chip
2. Open the Setup Assistant microcontroller and locate the top one of the two LUA scripts in it
3. Find the line "setuppos=input.getBool(11)" and replace it with "setuppos=true" this allows you to skip the positioning step with the map.
4.Connect a constant on signal to a blinker to the "APS on" input on the setup assistant and make the blinker be active for more than 2 seconds.

You probably want to give the magnets a constant on signal or fix the boom in place in a more permanent way.

I am sorry if this sounds very complicated but feel free to get back to me if you need any further help. Good Luck

I've tried removing the step of setting up the boom and driving under it, but is there a way to remove that step from the microcontroller? So i can go from rotating the uppercarrige straight to operation of the crane?

All of you're creations are amazingly created, You deserve donations, I would happily donate, If I wouldn't of got scammed while buying something in real life.

@NTSFMagellan - The game sometimes behaves strangely with the supports. Did you create a new world before you load the crane? In my experience creating a new world helps the game to calculate supports more reliable.

@StrickerNova3778 - I did. Look in the images section of the workshop page

Can you make a video tutorial?
NTSFMagellan Apr 25, 2020 @ 3:00pm
I dunno what the hell happened. The dang thing flipped over. I think the weak sauce Magnets are to blame. And the Fact that the legs dont like to extend properly.
PingPong Apr 25, 2020 @ 5:07am
Its amazing but kind hard to setup and it couldnt lift the trailer
innosteve  [author] Apr 23, 2020 @ 1:20am
@Kyle's Drywall
There are multiple reasons that could be causing this:
1. The Setup button on the touchscreen was accidentally pressed twice
2. The crane is not setup in a new world.

Try to set it up in a new game and make sure you follow the steps as in the setup tutorial video. The big magnets should not disconnect. (However. The magnets like to rotate without the boom connected to them due to bugs in the game. This should not effect the functionality of the crane though.)
Deez Nuts Apr 22, 2020 @ 6:57pm
I'm having trouble with the crane. Once it's set up, the giant magnets for the boom disconnect and I cant use the crane.

this is absolutely outstanding
innosteve  [author] Apr 21, 2020 @ 7:15am
@General patton - ty ;)
@Sir John J. Tremaine - Probably not because I don't see a reason to do so. The MK88 would basically work and look almost exactly the same but the work that would go into that project would be massive on the other hand.
@NTSFMagellan - Personally I prefer doing the smaller creations because they're less of a pain to detail (while keeping the quality) also the game has a lot of bugs concerning the handling of large creations. This crane has already been too big concerning these issues.

love the automation in the setup really cool, great work.
JJT Apr 20, 2020 @ 8:27pm
Are you planning on reworking the Mk88 with the new winch update?
NTSFMagellan Apr 20, 2020 @ 7:12pm
Can you Do Big Muskie? as a Mission Creation? Id LOVE to scoop a ship out of the water lol.
