Sorry guys, i didn't see these messages sooner
I think this mod is not working as expected sadly, so if you have issues with it just remove it
If someone actually use this mod and see a real difference when activated, please tell me in the comments, otherwise i will soon remove it completely from the workshop

Hi. The mod doesn't seem to work with the last version, I still see ugly 2d tree lods at like 200 meters

Actually i did manage to improve lod quality for units in nearly all recent total war games (starting with rome 2), but this one is too different sadly

And for @Vadelinoz, LOD is the technic used in video games that renders models in bad quality on your screen when they are far from you (games couldn't run even on an rtx 4090 without this)

It is not possible because there is no information for units lod stored in the tables of the game
Are at least i didn't find these informations yet

Units would be so much more important. I noticed that the units use 2d sprites when you zoom out just a little bit because the LOD manager is just too aggressive and stupid.

OMG.... Ive been waiting for this mod for years! Thank you so much! So many of us built PCs specifically for this game to look its best, then Creative performed a hard nerf on graphics. You are the MVP of modders right now as far as I'm concerned.

Man if you can figure out how to improve Shogun's terrible unit LOD I will be forever grateful! Ever since the last few patches CA put out they lowered the unit LOD for the Ultra setting... Just moving 10 feet away everyones faces turn into a ball on ultra..... So annoying.

This is not for units, only for trees buildings and equipements
