I know exactly how you feel man, but I wouldn't fret over the Physical Training, I don't know how much the difference between US Army and British Army basic are, but the PT requirements probably won't be as rough as you think to achieve. The training that you get is supposed to get you there. I saw fat bastards cut 5 min off their run times and a Asian dude who was actually 5 foot even keep up with the group. You will be fine, I know mentally this sucks, but now maybe the build up wont be as bad for the next time. Also thanks man, stay safe yourself and thanks for all of your awesome mods!

It's a bit frustrating remembering it, all the progress just got cut and I know I'll have to get back in shape after it's over and it feels like you're a snail that got placed back in the starting line of a race you were about to finish. There is a world wide lockdown happening, and the British government decided that they want to minimise the spread of infection. The army and all the start dates were cancelled, there's closed shops, there's fines for people going outside. A lot of people were supposed to get on with something in their lives 3 weeks ago until this pandemic started.

I know this off topic but I'm curious, weren't you supposed to leave for Basic like a week or 2 ago?
