Crashes for me with just your mods installed

Hello, I want to ask if this medieval mod can be separated from Warfare Expanded: Reloaded or added to Warfare Expanded Complete Edition. Because I like this mod so much, but there seems to be something wrong with the reloaded mod. Finally, thank you again. I have been playing your warfare expanded for 2 years.:steamhappy:

Any way to cap the game in the Medieval Era to enjoy these cool new units? I tried using the Real Era Stop mod but I think because this brings its own tech tree and Real Era Stop edits the tech tree to stop in any given era, they're incompatable. Anyone know a way I could achieve holding the game in the Medieval era with this mod? I've tried editing the base game tech tree but it causes crashes. would i need to make a custom tech tree and add it to this mod? btw not looking to upload or take credit for this amazing work, just want to enjoy more of a good thing. Thanks!

This is the error that get at turn 234(Marathon). It works fine up until then. The mod list is a little larger than my last but i fear if i were to try with a smaller modpack it this will happen eventually regardless. I made it much farther without crashing and this error with the smaller modpack but my question is would this eventually happen to that game too. Its just quite demoralizing to even try again if its inevitable.
I use an era stop mod to stop in the Medieval era, play on deity, and tend to play until i'm bored of the save. Is there a turn limit for when this mod causes this error?

@jeffdawgfan the problem is game not PC related. Civ VI has now an asset limit (since new Frontier Patch), so if you load too many mods with new assets you will get glitches and crashes.

Civ V graphic mod is very extensive and in addition with Warfare and some other mods like UC Districts, Citystyle or City Lights you blow up the limit by far.

Only solution is to use less asset intensive mods or disable not needed DLC (especially New Frontier ones).

I am sorry. That fix worked two loads now doing the same thing. Seems that was not the culprit.

Ok, after trying mods one at a time I seem to have found the culprit. The WE mod does not seem to be compatible with the CIV V texture/terrain mods. Turn those off and graphics issues are resolved. Identifying why they are incompatible is beyond my expertise.

OK, a little more information for author:

My system:
Ryzen 5900 cpu
RTX 3080 gpu
32gb RAM
Asus 43" 4K monitor.

I have tried a process of trying every option in graphics one at a time and nothing makes any difference. Even at 1920x1080 setting still have artifacts. If I disable all the Warfare expanded mods have no issues. The issues are so bad I can't use my favorite mod.....

I too am having serious graphics glitches. Usually for me it is several different units that may vary from game to game that give the glitches. I have a very top end system and that could not be the cause. I disabled all but the very basic DLC and still have wild graphics tearing across the screen. I cannot even play the game in DX 12 they are so bad. They only happen with the warfare expanded mods enabled which is a bummer since I love these mods. Does not matter if I play full screen, windowed or full border-less window. I have no idea what is causing this.......

for anyone having graphic glitches. Here is a sollution.

1) Go to main menu
2) open Options ---> graphics----> Set to borderless window.
3) exit game, and start up again.
4) load game.


If you experience it again, do the same again, but choose "full screen".

This has solved the problem for me

Does this mod make the game stay in medieval age? it would be awesome is thats the case, otherwise once medieval age stage is over wouldnt it be kind of pointless to have the mod?

@Malata Societa' Official His complaint is very much valid. If the mod was known to be in some way MP incompatible, it would have been noted in the description.

I always get desynch errors after like 40-70 turns in Multiplayer while using the medieval part of the Warfare Expanded Mods. Does anyone else got this problem? Are there desynch errors with the main part of the mod in lategame too?

I've seen that one before but with some different mod.
At some point all the textures became pitch black and white too, save for the sky.
I don't know if this is of any help, I'm just sharing it in case it is.

After a few turns into the game I also get EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. I play with all of the Warfare Expanded mods except for Warfare Expanded Complete Edition. I also use a handful of other mods (not city styles or the district mods). Does anyone know what the problem is?

Have the men at arms been updated to culturally unique yet? In my game they appear as they did in vanilla. Trying to figure out if it's a problem on my side or just inherit to the mod.
