@JustSaiyan At this point there's already another mod that *is* being kept up to date, and has a handful of automated elements to it, so there's little point in me coming back to update this one specifically. Since they built theirs off mine as a base, it pretty much has pretty much all the functions this one has, minus the prebuilt decks.

The big majority of the proxies that were in here were made by me, by editing/redrawing the PNGs taken from the official website. Most other sites will upload their proxies as JPGs so that they load faster, but the quality takes a dive because of it.

Since Bandai are stopping anyone from making a workshop for this, would it be possible to find out where you got such clean high quality images of the cards?
I'm looking to update this for personal use, and thus far all of the cards I've tried to add have had various levels of blur. >.>

JustSaiyan you can peek at your cards by pressing ALT and SHIFT which lets you see the card without flipping them

Needs a working Fog of war for set side like how some tables have it so we don't have to flip our cards to see what it is the five we drawn and are in our hands.

Bamco should suck a dick for how hard some cards are to come by rn, and they shut down an online play mod during COVID. Always been a shitty company with shitty practices. This mod rules.

Hey Guys, I have "small" problem. I can´t see my Cards in Hand when I put them there from my Deck, even if I flip them. Everything else works just great. Maybe I´m just stupid and overseeing something xD

@オーバーマスターP There wouldn't really be an easy way to do it, short of you essentially saving each card image yourself and making a custom deck by importing the images yourself. Having the cards in other languages, however, is something I could consider doing at some point in the future but is ultimately low on my list of priorities as I already have my hands full from making the english proxies to update the game as is.

I want to teach a Japanese friend how to play, with Japanese language cards. What can be done to make this work? Is there an easy way to import the original JP version of the cards? An older version of the mod not using translated cards, even if the card pool is smaller?

@Eagle13075 I'm sorry to say that I haven't tested anything here with hotseats, and I've never used the feature myself either so not only do I not really know what it is or what the issue could be, I also don't know where I'd even start looking into trying to fix it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

In hotseats, I'll hop around from the player one seat to the player two seat and everything will be working just fine, but then one of two things will happen:
1) when I draw a card, my hand will not adjust to fit the new card, and the card I just drew will fall through my hand and the table. When it reappears above my hand, it freezes mid-air. From that moment on my hand stops holding cards. Every card I move to the hand zone just falls then freezes above the hand zone.
2) When I go to draw a card using the number keys, it draws either double or even quadruple what I input
I have tried messing with the hand zone, hand settings, reinstalling TTS and my save files, and restarting my computer. I have also tested to see if this error occurs on the default tables, and it does not. Restarting hotseats temporarily fixes the problem, but I am admittedly getting pretty frustrated that this keeps happening. I'd appreciate any input on resolving this issue.

@Zaffy - minor suggestion but I think it would be an overall improvement (from one mod builder to another!) - you should set the playing surface and the side board 'interactable' values to false. This will prevent users from accidentally unlocking either over the course of play.

Just something simple like:

self.interactable = false
end

@jblevins1991 You read the instructions, and assumed that you could do something different from what the instructions explicitly tell you to do. I'm afraid that's a user error, not a coding error.

Also, getting mad at me because you made an incorrect assumption, despite the very clear instructions telling you what to do, isn't very healthy or very smart. Had you read the post immediately before yours, you'd not only have seen the solution to your problem, but also would have seen that the response I gave is a copy-pasted one that just covers the most common solutions for problems with importing since, like you said, "Users are going to do the wrong thing even if you explicitly tell them not to". It's also why I say that, if those solutions don't resolve your issue, to post about it in the bug/help thread in more detail with any error codes or screenshots so that I can try and actually figure out what's wrong.

@Zaffy I did read the instructions, but assumed that I could change which note had the name "myDeck". If the changing the name to something that is not "myDeck" and then changing it back creates an unusable state in your game that is a defect on your end.

I verified that the issue is not that I am using cards that aren't in the game yet. A friend sent me their deck list and it didn't import anything except 475 cards from the All Cards pile. This deck list was the same one that he has been using.

Again, you should write better code if you are going to launch it into production. Users are going to do the wrong thing even if you explicitly tell them not to. As an engineer I assumed you were searching by name, which would reason that I could change any note to have the name "myDeck". Unfortunately, you're bad at what you do and you reply like a douche.

I'm having trouble importing my deck. I made it on Digimon card dev and I think I made the mistake of importing my cards first. Now nothing but some random green deck is the only thing loading and it will not let me copy and paste .

A) you didn't read the instructions fully and you renamed the "mydeck" tab in the notebook
B) you didn't read the instructions fully and took the pile of cards out of the "All Cards" box before hitting load
C) you're trying to load cards that aren't in the mod yet
D) you copy+pasted the wrong thing from digimoncard.dev
E) something actually broke, post the error message in the bug/help thread for me to look at later.

I added multiple decks to my notebook and thought that chaning the deck with the name "myDeck" would allow me to swap between the decks easily. Now none of my decks load properly. The problem is deleting the mod and re-installing does not fix this. Is there a solution for this?

@polterguysteve are you sure you have changed color to either red/blue as a player? Player without color or spectator cannot draw cards.

Sorry never used TTS' deck builder... I've only tried to replace image using copied preexisting card(s) so the image always fit.

hey CPU thanks for the tip. I've been trying to just upload the custom deck using TTS' deck builder but the image doesn't fit TTS' 10 x 7 grid so it always cuts off the bottom half of the image. Would you happen to know how to through that?

Please give the author some space and time, for anyone not patient enough you can always manually customize cards by right clicking, to change card name, description, and customize the image using link from the web.. I used this just to add some pre-released new starter deck cards, also omnimon alter-s and green imperialdramon...
