Oh if I /can/ ask, do you think you'll make your own version of the Pathfinding framework? It hasn't been updated in a long while (Only once after Anomaly released) and odds are it'll conflict with ALL the new pathfinding stuff going on in 1.6

@Myphicbowser You're welcome! Yeah, unfortunately it seems like they added stuff for flying, and amphibious creatures, but no aquatic, which stinks!

Ah thats a shame, but reasonable! I was hoping since they're adding new movement stuff for Water and such they would've made it possible, thanks for the quick answer!

I just want to say that Rimworld seagulls are even bigger bastards than their Earth-bound counterparts. One of them tried to go after my toddler. 10/10

Also Hermit crabs are deceptively tough.

@Draegon1993 Hello, in the file BMT_Amphibious_Pinnipeds.xml under the 1.5\Defs\ThingDefs_Races directory, the reference to "BiomesIslands_Things/Pawn/Animal/Walrus/Dessicated_Whale" should be corrected to "BiomesIslands_Things/Pawn/Animal/Walrus/Dessicated_Walrus". Dumb question but if I set the fully aquatic animals like fish to be able to spawn in non island biomes, will they spawn and like insta die or will the game not spawn them

Would also be neat if reefs were very sensitive to human activity, so if you build or dump too much in the water or interact with the coral too much it starts to die/bleach. Could have a quest to destroy a nearby enemy island outpost or coastal pollution site damaging nearby reefs or somethin

After the Pathfinding Framework version update,BrokenIsles,BiomesIslands_BorealArchipelago,BiomesIslands_DesertArchipelago,BiomesIslands_TundraArchipelago,BiomesIslands_TropicalArchipelago, I haven't seen these Archipelagos before when generating maps. Can a regulator be added to the map generation interface to adjust the probability of Archipelagos generation? Just like the Caverns generation probability regulator in 'Biomes! Caverns'

I'm getting an issue where the game gets caught in a loop trying to generate the local map, says it has an error (with the local map generation), then restarts generating the local map, only escape is to alt+f4, same issue on Biomes! polluted lands and I'm gonna post this over there too.

Yes, we are aware. We are going to do a very big and very thorough pass of fixing up many of the defs and improving the textures and features when we do the TLC update.

A large chunk of this mod's defs are malformed. It's been an issue since 1.4 and there is at least one mention in the "Bug Reporting: POST BUGS AND ISSUES HERE" discussion that pointed out that this was pointed out in June of 2024.

Disappointing because the dude clearly knows something about it since this mod is compatible with PokeWorld, Vanilla Plants Expanded, Vanilla Animals Expanded, Vanilla Fishing Expanded, Fish Industry, Alpha Mythology, Alpha Animals, and Giddy Up 2.

I'm still piecing it together and might come back to edit this to try and provide people with instructions on how to get this to work with those mods.

Something I want to get a bit of a sanity check on. I'm playing on a colony that's on an Atoll, and for some reason any time a fish wanders into the Lagoon, it suddenly gets the urge to attack any walls nearby. I also notice that anything that wanders into the lagoon will eventually die of malnutrition, so I wonder if that is contributing to the problem.

The sanity check I need is mainly to see if this is something other people have had to deal with.

Is there anyway to increase the chance of islands? For some reason boreal ones seem to spawn much less than temperate or tundra.
