getting this model to work is a pain in the ass. Before it was fine and all of a sudden its either untextured or his helmet is alien green and cant fix it. Why.

I havent imported this exact model in Blender, but Im assuming the issue is the same like any other SFM model imported to blender.
Disable Alpha for normal texture and make sure its set to non-color color space.
For color texture also disable alpha.

I've exported the model into Blender, because I want to use it for something (I'll provide credit, don't worry). After using VTFEdit to convert the textures into .pngs, I can't get the textures to work. I tried applying the normal map, that was somewhat glitched, and the texture doesn't look correct at all. The color is way off, it looks more black than green, but it has all of the correct details (scratches, etc). After screwing around with it for 2 hours, I decided to leave a comment asking for help instead, as I don't know what I'm doing.

Is it possible to either A) Get the correct textures from you if the textures are actually wrong, or B) Get a screenshot of your texture node setup in Blender so I can make this thing work?

You mentioned getting the original author's consent, and I don't know what I need to do, but I just want to be able to use the model for stuff like VRChat or audio visualizers. A quick point in the right direction would help a lot.
