base module does not fix crafted spears always coming out with 5 condition

including submodule does fix it but throws lua errors anytime they're crafted + does not apply any carpentry/handy boosts to spear stats (probably what the lua errors are about)

It's packaged with the main mod. When you open the game and go tot he mod list, there will be two separate mods listed there.

One of my users reports an issue with binding a hand fork to a spear, stating that the items disappear, yet the recipe to remove the hand fork from the spear is available regardless. When they use that from the crafting menu, the crafted spear shows up and the hand fork shows up redundantly. Something about this process can be repeated to increase durability of the crafted spear up to its max at no cost.

Hey, does your mod apply only to crafted spears, or does it modify the durability of looted ones as well? I specifically mean the pitchfork and modded lootable spears (since they all belong to the weapon class i imagine it should be possible to tweak EVERY spear-type weapon, no matter if vanilla or coming from other mods).
Also what about attaching blades from mods to crafted spears? I've seen that already, i think it's built into the tool/weapon mods im using, but will it work combined with yours?

The error is from the Handy trait bonus being poorly implemented, and not working. It's harmless otherwise.

As of my last test, this mod still works in singleplayer and multiplayer. It throws an error when binding spearheads with leather (I've never actually tried using twine because why would I do that when leather is so common?) but the spear gets made anyway and works normally from there on.

I guess if you made a few thousand spears with leather-bound spearheads it might theoretically corrupt your save but if you're going for years-long saves with a heavy mod load you're playing the game very differently than I am.

For a moment, I thought the mod was malfunctioning, because I could no longer craft spears with leather. Then I checked the crafting menu and saw that the recipes require clean leather strips and my strips were dirty. It would be nice if the option to use dirty leather strips was added.

Aside from the quirk mentioned, my experience playing the game with this mod has been very good, so thanks for your work.

Basically the game doesn't recognize if you have the Handy trait or not when attaching a blade to a spear. It's a minor error sure, but you don't get the durability bonus from having that trait.

not all here. It produces error while binding to spear with leather or twine. without consequences; I mean it doesn't seem to have any impact on the gameplay

Any chance of an option to turn on scaling crafting bonus for leather? I know it's abundant but it just feels so much more realistic to use leather, and you'd still need the crafting skill.

An error keeps popping up every time I attach a spearhead to a crafted spear with the crafting submod enabled. Is this normal?

@Justicar - Pretty sure i had this happen with another mod (i forget it's name) that lets you more things to spears and also reclaim them. So it could be a new vanilla change that needs to be addressed in spear related mods.

Don't know what's happened, or if its something broken on my end. But since the update a few hours ago. Attaching weapons to spears sets the durability to less than 1/4. No matter the starting durability of the spear or weapon being attached.

Just pushed an update, so if any multiplayer people get error messages when trying to log in, tell the server host to download the update and restart the server. Sorry in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
