im looking for good/better looking force lightning(like it, i dont need focus, shouldnt look psi like) ability as replacement from other classes or perk mods, maybe someone knows one

jedi saber upgrades(crystals) do bonus damage to all melee abilities, including reflect!, so reflection does far more damage then the shot which targeted you, it is making the reflect ability too strong, besides the additional rupture(which you cant remove). So if you dont want the addtional damage from upgrades, or have a custom jedi class like me(i combined and reworked it with the stromrider to a sith class, but cant hand handle the modeditor, so i cant upload it on the workshop), use " WoTC lightsabers (expanded)", or removingthe damage from the upgrades, and buff the normal weapons should work aswell(some crystal have op damge anyway, like a beam saber has 18 damage with a 9 damage crystal)

@AllMighyBox the class's numinforceddeck/numindeck is set to 0, you have to set it to above 0 if you want them to be choosable

Anyone know how to get better colors on the lightsabers? There's a couple colors that work - purple and green - but I can't put blue on anything because it either ends up washed out or just looking white.

i need help its not allowing me to train jedi im using commanders choice and even refreshed my config and verifyed my files and its still not working can anyone else train jedi? or nah cause i cant

It will flag it if you don't have required mods. By required I mean listed by uploader on mod page. If you use True Primary Secondaries, you will be fine, despite not having Primary Secondaries - AML will flag such mod as if it's missing dependancy anyway. Ignore it.

quick queston the alternate mod launcher keeps flagging this and a couple other mods i have as missing dependacys but there arnt any listed wheni claick on the mod here, is it just a false positive?

Question. How do I know if a unit I have is Force Sensitive and able to become a Jedi? Or is it just like normal promotions and it's completely random if someone becomes a Jedi?

You have to research alien corpses to progress. I think Archon corpse gives Master Lightsaber for example. Then look it up in Proving Grounds projects.

this mod would be amazing, but its absolutely ruined by one thing, can't build any new lightsaber after researching modular weapons so i'm stuck with the next to useless "training lightsaber" with just 2 damage.... on my lv4 Jedi.

I'm having issues seeing the Lightsabers in my inventory. When I accidentally unequipped my Jedi's Lightsaber, it completely disappeared. Could the issue be that I don't have the Proving Ground yet?

I like the class... but I dont like the first and second rank. The soldier jedi is far weaker that any other class, modded or not. The class should had the momentum by default with lightsaber, or at least a 50% chance to block an incoming shoot.

Just adding this for primary doesn't seem to be enough

I actualy have the same problem as the user LunarSlayer below. I cannot equip the usual lightsaber as the primary weapon, saberstaffs only are present. And the problem is not happening only to the lightsabers - some of the other modded weapons of meele, oistol and grenade launcher categories are not avaliable... So I suppose the problem is not with this mod, but with Primary Secondaries.
Though there is a moment - I have already played[u/] with those same mods back in 2022, and it all was working right. Maybe some sort of an update broke it all?

I'm currently having issues on getting Jedi characters to come into the roster, let alone wanting to promote the normal way.
Also I don't have an option to train jedi's in the training academy
Any ideas on to fix this?

Hey curiosity of mine. The jedi variant of bladestorm states free holocrin attacks on any enemies that enter or attack from melee range. Is this ment to say Saber attacks?

i managed to find a weird work around, as I cant make sabres, I went into the files of the mod and made it so that a new jedi joining will have a lightsabre, not just a training lightsabre but, you can make it one of the more powerful swords.

Whelp, maybe I just don't understand the class, but I can't seem to find it any good. Full melee classes >need< to move after attacking or they will be sitting ducks and get easily shot because their positioning will depend on the enemy positioning. Templars are like that, and I find them one of the best classes because they can still go to cover after attacking. 3 focus to activate Force Speed is too steep. They need to get to their third promotion to use it once in a blue moon. And even their deflect hability comes too late; it needed to be one of their first. I'm glad the mod exist, but I can't agree with it's design.

I tried everything to get lightsabres, but it just doesnt work, I only get the normal blade weapons, nothing can be built I am already finishing elerium reaserch, and the light sabre isnt anywhere.

How do I mod a lightsaber? I have the apprentice lightsaber, and I have several parts from alien drops, but when I go upgrade equipment, the lightsaber is greyed out.

Do I need to craft a modular lightsaber via Engineering? and if so, which facility do I need to unlock first?

@Dara I've had the same issue and can't find anything about it online. I THINK the bug mostly only showed up with one character in particular, and he was using a single saber (double sabers MIGHT sidestep the issue: please confirm).
In the meantime, I'm thinking about starting a fresh, lighter load-order play through to see if it's a memory overflow error.

I've installed this mod in a campaign I've already started, but I can't find where to make the lightsaber... so far I can only use the initial lightsaber
does anyone know if the problem is because the campaign is already started?

I've used this with LWOTC + RPGO for years, and it works fine. IIRC, default LWOTC disables all classes other than its own, so you'd need a mod/ .ini edit to get around that, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. The loot drops just fine.

@Dara: I have actually seen that before... and I don't remember what fixed it. Sound stupid, but when was the last time you completely shut down and restarted your computer? Could be a RAM issue... it's also possible that it's a conflict with a mod. My suspicion would be something that edits enemies/ enemy weapons.

More specifically, the game freezes and turns off right before an enemy attacks a Jedi.
Every time I attack, it doesn't stop and the reflex works normally for a few times, but then it happens very frequently and irregularly in between.

If you reflect an enemy attack after using Battle Meditation, the game will freeze and turn off.
Has anyone seen the same symptoms?

Hi guys, got a problem here. I equipped my Jedi with the training saberstaffs, but now I can't seem to be able to unequip them, even to equip the regular single blade training staff which my guys wielded by default. And I can't equip them with regular blades as well. I saw in the comments that someone had the same problem, he couldn't equip his Jedi with lightsabers he just crafted. Any idea how to get out of this predicament?

Dear authors Ginger and Musashi. I have questions to this mod, as I noticed a violation and departure from the canon of adepts of the Force.
1) Why do demanding skills completely drain the pool of Force points instead of just spending their cost? For example - Battle Meditation, Lightsaber Telekinesis and Force Lightning Chain. We remember vividly how Darth Sidious killed Republicans, group by group, using the Lightning Chain Force, and not reloading the Force pool with meditation.
2) Why do warrior adepts not restore the entire pool of points using Battle Meditation? After all, it restores Force points as well as Meditation skill in combat!
3) What can be done to ensure that all strong skills do not completely drain the Force pool points, but only spend their cost?
4) What can be done to ensure that the Battle Meditation skill restores the Force Pool points as well as Meditation?
