if you could edit this mod to work more like a real radiator with a gauge on the dash and the ability to add coolant or coolant to leek same thing with oil and 2 respective lights on the dash for low oil and overheating coolant that be real cool

yeah is there a good opposite to this? cars are like paper. Its sad that i have like level 5 mechanics fully repair a car then i hit 2 zombies and like everything is gone (not literally but even turning down the car dmg taken all the way still seems like way too much dmg taken) HAHA

Glad they did something about the overpowered cars, im still in 40.43 version, didnt play the v41. I will play v41 when multiplayer comes.

In my opinion now, you need to do the reverse mod, so that the cars stopped being cardboard =) the Developers overdid it in 41.36

As I know, kills by car won't be counted.

I couldnt find either, maybe a bug with Zomboid PhysicsDelay. Don´t know.
If you want to help improve the mod, now im thinking in using this code to damage engine per kills:
"local player = getOnlinePlayers():get(i);
pKill = player:getZombieKills();
time = check kills in 10 min; -- make time check
if pkill > 100 and time=true and vehicle:isEngineRunning() then .... "

Nice idea. Neat code. I was thinking about damaging engine on hit, e.g. zombie hit, by tree, by wall. But I haven't found a way how to do it.

Since hoods have the durability of glass right now. I see this as too much of a vehicle nerf. If hoods/windshields/trunks were made more durability to sustain damage then this would make sense.
