how do i breed the dragons, theres like, no guides online. they wont lay the egg, or do the seggsy dance with hearts, just have them stuck at 50% stopped until fertilized :( big sad

It looks like dragons' toxic attacks apply toxic buildup without checking for enemy resistances which can allow enemies like mechs (this happened specifically with a starfire from alpha mechs) to go down due to toxic buildup!

This mod reacts a bit odd if your map isn't de-fogged to the edge. For example, if you're in a VFE Ancients vault.

Instead of erroring out when it can't place a dragon on the edge of the map, it simply... tries again every few ms... forever.

TPS drops quite significantly until you defog the map to an edge, then it picks back up. You can test this using dev mode to defog the map when things are super low TPS, a dragon spawn vent will immediately occur and the game will go back to normal speed.

Might be worth instituting a check on the Wandering dragon event; if it can't spawn after ~10 attempts, it gives up for 24 hours in game time or something.

Can you do something about EVERY dragon being addicted to drinking? It's okay to have a drink every once in a while, but if they continuously get blackout drunk to the point no one else can drink, there's a problem.

@Tontato you got to make a bill at the incubator, then right click the incubator with a colonist to "load the egg"

The small ritual requires "2x raw materials" such as gold, uranium, etc.
Is it intended to need 20 gold? That's kinda a lot for the smallest ritual

Hobocommando in mod named weaponstats you can find the dragonfire launcher under the melle category and its because it doesnt have any ranged stats.

don't know if this is a bug or working-as-intended:

dead dragon & nest event at the south pole/tundra during winter (-50 C) spawned the white dragon and egg, but the egg was ruined by temperature immediately.


suggestion options:

a) give eggs a tolerance for temperature.
- additionally: give different types of eggs different tolerances

b) have the spawned dragon nests prevent eggs from freezing
- additionally: prevent eggs from being ruined by environmental circumstance such as fire (at least until the nest burns up)
- lore/practical-wise, maybe naturally spawned nests "made by dragons" in the wild could be a different structure that keeps the contents temperature controlled (like real-life crocodiles with their mound nests)

c) warning pop-up on map selection for spawning into a map that will immediately ruin the eggs (like the warning pop-up that happens when spawning too near to another settlement)

@Zo_Confuzled - they speed up Carawans as a placeholder.
The plan is to be able to fly on the map later on. Otters health is getting better so things will get done in the future.
Someone else is planning a surprise for everyone tho. One hint: Visual only.

This might be mega OP, but dragons allready kinda are so. I was just wondering if there is a sub mod that makes you able to use dragons to fly like in vanilla vehicles? Or posibly if they could just speed up travle speed by a lot somehow? Love the mod but feels sad that my men can not fly to war with the interlopers on their dragons

Hey there! I noticed the mod's assemblies are being distributed with the harmony dll. This is redundant and can cause issues when the main harmony dependency updates, I would recommend removing it if it's not much of a hassle.

I play this mod and I think its broken. I only raid 2 golden dragon lair and have 24k gold and 75 dragon egg there is a 15 or more man but only 3 of them enemy the other neutral golden dragon neutral too but most funny part is 2 hare guard the lair gate so I don't think I use it again I think break the game balance probably 75 dragon egg its ogre stack issue but golden vein wall is not so every lair give 12k gold its too much but I support the mod

@Nebulous I had the same issue, upwards of 120ms. Turns out the wandering dragon event was trying to fire but a fleshmass had blocked its pathing to the tile it was trying to reach so it wouldn't spawn. Destroying the blocking fleshmass by the edge of the map resolved the problem.

The eggs won't show up in the storage tab, neither in the storage zone or the nest, thus I can't ask the pawns to move the egg and place it in the nest, is there any known issues or mod incompatibility about this ?

I dont think this has happened on any of my other saves, but the "mapcomponenttick, mod: dragons descent assembly: DDlib" is causing bad tps drops for me randomly. On this save I don't have any dragons nor any items from the mod on my colony map, so I am not sure what would be causing resource consumption. Any ideas?
