I've been trying to cancel the auto roof for a long time, but "thanks" to steam's poor search function, I didn't find this mod until today

tried uninstalling all my mods except for Harmony, HigsLib, and Mod Manager, it's not working.

@Striker1919 It should be one of the last icons in that list, unless you have some mod that adds their own icon in a destructive way

I tried unsubscribing and resubscribing, deactivating and reactivating, and change it from loaded last to one of the first mods loaded, I read through each button in the GUI where "automatic rebuild" is found each time. Nothing was added or removed from the UGI at any point through these steps. It's possible a mod I have installed is messing with it, I'll uninstall all 50 billion of them sometime to see if that fixes it lol

Only thing about this mod that I'm mad about is that, when I was looking for a mod that does exactly this, Steam's search function failed me and didn't show me this when I searched for "auto roof".
This, like countess other mods, should be base game. Thankfully we have mod authors like fed1s and the amazing and talented (and tireless) Mlie to add the common sense mods to this amazing game.

@kissykaede That's probably the phenomenon known as code-baby. It's when you code something, and it suddenly becomes more sacred than a very sacred thing being given sacrament in a very sacred shrine by several popes, vice-popes, and executive-popes.

Still works for 1.3. This mod shouldn't even be necessary though, I wish Tynan would give us the ability to toggle this behavior. Auto-roofing causes more problems than it solves; it takes all of 5 seconds to designate areas for roof to be build, I don't understand why auto-roof is even needed at all.

Wish I saw this sooner, I hate how my pawns keep building roofs over my fenced off fields.

Amazing mod. This should be base game. I don't know why the hell anyone would try to swim to the middle of a river and put a roof up over it just because it happens to be next to a mountain and you built a wall on the other side.

@jSw It seems like it would be, as there are other roofing options, but there is no vanilla option to toggle or disable auto-roofing. There is an option to see roofs as green zones, and an option to automatically set home zone, but no auto-roofing option.
I know what you mean though, I could have sworn it was made vanilla in one of the earlier updates, but it didn't actually exist when I went looking for it.
