You can adjust how many armors you can build in the configuration file
Hey, I feel you. I learned by pulling apart existing mods as well. Shoot me a friend request and I can try to review a few things with you.
However I am having major problems finding resources online and pulling apart pre-existing mods is getting me a bit lost and confused. Would you happen to have resources someplace about making/modifying enemies that I can take a look at?

My friend, my sincerest thanks back to you. Honestly, I remember seeing your character mods and thinking that was probably the coolest thing in the world. I've basically used those exclusively since they've come out and continue to. These mods alongside folks like Cavily and Lord Poncho are something I'm happy to contribute to and hope to continue. Thanks again :)
And definitely, looking forward to using those assets as well since you're cool with it!
So I took it upon myself to learn how to make mods, and I remember thinking to myself when I saw the overwhelming positive response to my first mod, my Tali Squadmate mod: "Dear God, people like this. They're really liking this! Maybe, one day, more knowledgeable people will join the cause, and we'll see the ME conversion happen."
This is yet another beautiful step closer towards that goal. And for that, you have my most sincere thanks!!
Replacer released:

Agreed, adding new things to a balanced environment will inevitably cause imbalance. I like to offer a few different methods to help alleviate this via: standalone units, replacers, or raider factions. Up to users to select their most preferred option :)
I like the EDI/Kai ideas. I am unfamiliar with the ruler system but hope to learn more about it.
A temp fix is to use console to give you the corpses; IMO the raider factions serve their purposes, because you can never fully ME/WH40k/SW this game. We need to imagine the aliens are the ones "give" us the technology in order to travel far into the space and discover other parties, who are at least 100's years away.
The best option is to have more than 1 option: I am about to start a ME1 campaign with the default squadmates and weapons, without the collectors and CAT-6; then add them (hopefully more stuff will be added by then) when I play ME2 campaign and so on.
May I suggest that we add Eva Coré and Kai Leng as rulers, so they can escape like in the story? Once killed, we can research EDI and Kai's armor (which gives stealth and mobility).
Sounds good! You’ve made a solid case here so I’m happy to oblige.
@Dr. I Scourge
I share the excitement :)
another awesome mod! thank you so much. one step closer.
i agree with ScrmblesThDethDealr, the replacer mod for guardian is definitely wanted and desired. i can't speak for everyone else, and different people want different things. but for me personally my most looking forward to type of mods are the replacer mods. don't get me wrong, i love all your mods and new standalone enemies are nice. in order to solve the problem of them flooding the enemy pool therefore reduce essential drops for research and development, all new standalone enemies are now in raider factions. but raider faction don't always show up in game to be fought consistently ( even with help of other mods ) . so it's all about what mods that cause the desired ( mass effect ) units to consistently show up in game. ie replacers.
cheers ! once again, thank you so much for the awesome work! :D
Yes, you're right. The animations on this unit were tricky due to the shield and such. Since primary pistols aren't immediately supported by the base XCOM game, additional adjustments are required. I wanted to at least get this mod released as its been some time before tackling animations associated with pistols. :)
@Sweeps
Yes, I've updated the Cerberus Raider Faction to support the new guardian unit
@ScrmblesThDethDealr
Currently standalone unit - 'Replacer' on the way if desired
@tastiger841
Sure
Potentially, what's the idea?
I was thinking about the missing unit, this one reads Master Ninja's mind?
Just wondering if you are interested in doing a small mod, which is for a coming special day?
