One addition I'd like to see to unit reskins that I havent really seen in any of the reskins, is the common uniform of levy troops. A lot of photographs from the Boshin War show soldiers wearing black frock coats, with usually a western style leather sword holder. I think the reskins usually show guys wearing hats, but most of the time in these photographs from the era, they're usually just wearing forehead protector headbands or no hat at all. Another cool look that I commonly see is Dark Haori's over dark colored western uniforms. I guess what I'm getting at, is for a realistic Boshin War look for the units, we should be seeing a lot more simple black uniforms on both sides, with less Jingasa hats and kepis. Finally, why did CA decide to give the units 2 band "Navy" sized enfields? Most of the rifles would've been the 3 band longer version of the enflield and springfield rifles.

Glad to know you addressed the Shinsengumi issue. Despite CA simply, and erroneously, relegating them to a police force, which was of course one of their functions, they were without a doubt battlefield competent. with their interests being that of a Samurai not the Bakumatsu answer to a cop.

We know that in the lead up to and following the battle of Toba - Fushimi , the Shinsengumi were well equipped with armour and its varying accoutrements , as well as the best rifles and artillery available to the Shogunate forces,and I, for one, am glad to see someone is finally taking steps to address this. Thanks for all of your work.

i really like your mod i think is the best reskin for FOTS, the only small critic if i may? would be about those creepy pale heads in white tiger unit, they dont fit, hands have diffrent color...and well those heads are just pure nightmare fuel, plus would be nice to see some color change for the more wierd saturated factions like bright orange saga xD , but overall best reskin anyway
