Snapping your fingers and stopping time is possible but not all that fun. Stopping time in the mod is sort of like the ultimate spell. You could turn it off with a fast, one handed spell but it would be a different spell so you'd need an on spell and an off spell which wouldn't be great. The creation kit doesn't allow the flexibility to make the same spell behave differently whether it is on or off.
It has been 10 years since I made it so I'm sure somethings have changed.
Too much hassle to be worth it. Sorry.
I did try to watch some videos and see how to use somethign called a creation kit. and I change the freeze time to be either handed. But no dice. it wont save and do it in-game. So, not a lot of help.
But thanks for the effort in trying :) I appreciate the effort to make this
There probably is a way to do it via console commands but I don't recall how. I think it is done via a global variable but I don't remember the variable name nor the values unfortunately.
Do you have a console command to set it manually or something?
thats all for now but even though there are a few bugs this is a really good mod thanks for making it
seems legit
Za warudo! Toki yo tomare!
You said you tried the console command which does suggest it isn't loading for some reason. I take it that if you type:
help "Spell Tome: Freeze Time" 4
it doesn't list anything?
To get the books with the console; open the console and type help "Spell Tome: Freeze Time" 4 (and slow time etc for the other ones) and then it'll give some little hexadecimal code (8 digit 0-9, A-F. Type the following to give yourself the book: player.additem XXXXXXXX 1 Where the Xs are replaced with the hexadecimal code you found in the previous step.
