Good question, genuinely can't remember. I suspect they will know if you are within line of sight even with time stopped. I believe time isn't stopped as such but it's just very, very slow.
Meyson7T 25. maj kl. 7:21
Can you steal in front of everyone without alerting them while time is stopped?
Vayek 14. apr. 2022 kl. 19:27
Yeah, I'm probably just not yet smart enough to get it working in the Creation Kit. But I'll keep at it. Thanks for the tips :)
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 12. apr. 2022 kl. 14:32
Thanks for the feedback Vayek. You can do it as a one handed spell, a shout, even putting on a ring etc. The choices made are really all to do with some attempt at balance and a bit of variety.

Snapping your fingers and stopping time is possible but not all that fun. Stopping time in the mod is sort of like the ultimate spell. You could turn it off with a fast, one handed spell but it would be a different spell so you'd need an on spell and an off spell which wouldn't be great. The creation kit doesn't allow the flexibility to make the same spell behave differently whether it is on or off.

It has been 10 years since I made it so I'm sure somethings have changed.
Vayek 12. apr. 2022 kl. 14:20
Maybe the freeze time could be added a shout? the current shout time slow also slows the player (which sucks)
Vayek 12. apr. 2022 kl. 14:17
Sucks the freeze time is two handed. So, I need to always switch to this spell, long ass cast time, switch back to my weapon, then switch back to the spell, long ass cast time to turn it off.

Too much hassle to be worth it. Sorry.

I did try to watch some videos and see how to use somethign called a creation kit. and I change the freeze time to be either handed. But no dice. it wont save and do it in-game. So, not a lot of help.

But thanks for the effort in trying :) I appreciate the effort to make this
ledbullet1 21. juni 2021 kl. 20:10
well its working now
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 21. juni 2021 kl. 8:46
I don't know and they change also. I think (reading from the description and what I can remember), you should be able to type help "Spell Name" and then it'll list a bunch of stuff. One should say Tome/Book: (XXXXXX) 'Spell Tome: Spell Name. That XXXXXX will be the ID.
ledbullet1 20. juni 2021 kl. 23:41
yeah i know how to use the console commands but whats the ids for the books
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 20. juni 2021 kl. 23:30
That's odd. Nothing has changed on the mod for 9 years but it could be conflicting with other mods or recent game changes (which there probably are none since there's that other version now). You could try using the console to give yourself the books. I have forgotten how at this point but a quick internet search should reveal the method.
ledbullet1 20. juni 2021 kl. 20:21
the books arent there at neither locatiion throat of the world not there and tolif doesnt have them either wtf?
Stotin 30. dec. 2019 kl. 16:25
using freeze time ive gotten it stuck a few times but just casting the slow time one for a second restoreseverything
Stotin 30. dec. 2019 kl. 16:24
Hey just as a note another way to return to normal time is to take the oposite time spell and cast it.

aLL mods need to be recoded for SE because SE is 64 bit while the old skyrim is 32 bit. The new skyrim also has many hard coded changes that critically alter it in a way that breaks most or all previous mods.
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 9. dec. 2016 kl. 13:26
I don't sorry, also my current version I have removed the pillar too. Now I have it so it gets slower the higher your Alteration skill is but I am not sure if people would like it like that so I am hesitant to update it.

There probably is a way to do it via console commands but I don't recall how. I think it is done via a global variable but I don't remember the variable name nor the values unfortunately.
Pixelmod 9. dec. 2016 kl. 9:10
Hey, I have Immersive College of Winterhold installed and it seems to obliterate the pillar that lets me set slowdown speed.
Do you have a console command to set it manually or something?
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 5. dec. 2016 kl. 12:09
Glad to hear you found a solution.
r3s0lv3d 5. dec. 2016 kl. 11:49
Well I wasn't complaining, anyways it was definitely conflicting with another mod because I uninstalled everything and reinstalled this and it worked like normal, and then I reinstalled everything I previously had because fighting super fast enemies was pretty fun.
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 3. dec. 2016 kl. 15:35
I am not sure how it works, I think a mod has to be uploaded to Special Edition as though it was a different game.
gooner for hire 3. dec. 2016 kl. 11:24
Does this work with Special Edition? I subscibed but it doesn't work.
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 1. nov. 2016 kl. 0:09
That is odd, @r3s0lv3d, I haven't changed anything and I don't think there has been a patch to Skyrim. There may be a conflict with another mod perhaps, I've never really tried making other things faster but it might be possible to use the slow time method values in reverse.
r3s0lv3d 31. okt. 2016 kl. 20:49
Yeah it used to work but now it just makes everything around you faster... Its quite fun trying to fight them while they move twice as fast
knuckles2007 25. okt. 2016 kl. 11:11
i hope you add this to the mod section on bethesda.net ... this would be so fun
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 15. aug. 2016 kl. 5:15
That is a problem! It's been a very long time since I have used this (over 4 years in fact) so all I can really suggest is you try what I have posted at the bottom of the description. It could also be that it is conflicting with another mod.
Koechi 15. aug. 2016 kl. 4:11
I have a question : It dont freeze the time in my game. Everything is faster than me and i think im the guy who is freezed lol. Can u help me pls ^^"
ok 9. juli 2016 kl. 14:33
nvm
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 9. juli 2016 kl. 14:32
I genuinely can't remember and the version I have scales with the alteration skill so it's not quite as simple. I think it is probably set to 1%. You can have it faster if you prefer (instructions of how to change it in the description).
ok 9. juli 2016 kl. 14:29
so is it set to that?
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 9. juli 2016 kl. 14:28
No, I don't think it is possible to completely freeze it. I think the slowest is can go is 1% of normal speed.
ok 9. juli 2016 kl. 14:26
by freeze time do you mean time completely stops?
Euoplo 12. juni 2016 kl. 13:15
hmm mabe making your mod so that there wount be a execution slowdown but then some people wount download this mod but whatever im not a modder
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 12. juni 2016 kl. 12:27
Thanks for the feed back Juliano, I've seen that bug too. I know it is to do with the execution slowdown effect but not sure how to go about fixing it though.
Euoplo 12. juni 2016 kl. 12:09
sooooo i have a few bugs first of all when i get a kill when i am in this cool view when im finishing of enemies and im in time freeze the time accelerates VERY much and in time freeze when i cast time slow time freeze gets negated(u can leave that cuz its faster than to cast time freeze) and when im in time freeze and i go read a book the book opens VERY slowed and i cant do a single thing
thats all for now but even though there are a few bugs this is a really good mod thanks for making it:steamhappy:
Eclipse 26. maj 2016 kl. 10:20
i was just kidding man but thanks
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 26. maj 2016 kl. 10:15
Ouch, RAt. I admire your dedication. If that happens again try the suggestion at the bottom of the description. 'Waiting' in game will also work but I understand that's not always possible.
Eclipse 26. maj 2016 kl. 8:49
wait an 1 hour for time to move again

seems legit
Bob 4. apr. 2016 kl. 11:36
Nanoha, theres a way to make the effect works less time?i mean, the yellow bar waste faster.
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 31. jan. 2016 kl. 4:41
Ouch, that is a problem. I'm unsure how to hook in to the kill cam effect in order to stop that. If you do get any problems you can do what I've suggested at the bottom of the main post (the remove perk part).
ILikeToEatDrywall 31. jan. 2016 kl. 3:22
So... While Stop Time was active, I got a kill cam and the world went back to 100% speed when it was over. That wasn't the problem. The problem was that this somehow put me at 1000% speed, which meant tapping the forward key sent me zooming from one end of the city to the other and if I fell in the ocean, I'd be drifting out to the ends of the world in a span of under ten seconds. It was hysterical, but maybe not working as intended... On the other hand, I'm VERY glad that the killcam didn't go 1000% SLOWER and make me wait a half hour or something.

Thank You
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 23. jan. 2016 kl. 8:40
It is in the College of Winterhold, northern area of Skyrim. Winterhold is classed as a town/city so you should see a city type icon for it.

HPLaserjetWirelessPrinter 7. okt. 2015 kl. 18:36
After unloading then reloading the mod I got the help command to give me the right base ID for it. So at least it does work now. All things considered its a good mod (when it loads right I guess, I do have other mods so that may be it)
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 7. okt. 2015 kl. 0:38
I have updated this mod but haven't uploaded it. I am hesitant to do that because I changed it a fair bit in an attempt to make it a little more balanced (although with a super option for people that just want to mess around and have fun in slow motion). I also added a new spell. I will consider uploading it some more which may solve your problem as I cleaned it up a lot.
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 7. okt. 2015 kl. 0:38
It could be that something else is conflicting with it or it's just not set to load (I believe mods can be synced and not set to load). Launch the game so that you get to the launcher and then select the 'data files' option. Make sure the mod is ticked. If it is already you could try moving it to the top with the up arrow so it loads first. You could also try loading the game with JUST the mod to see if that works. It will help narrow down the problem.

You said you tried the console command which does suggest it isn't loading for some reason. I take it that if you type:
help "Spell Tome: Freeze Time" 4
it doesn't list anything?

HPLaserjetWirelessPrinter 6. okt. 2015 kl. 21:59
Broken, although the launcher said it was synched with the game. No physical books, Tolfdir isnt selling them, and the help command isnt solving anything.
Nanoha  [ophavsmand] 4. sep. 2015 kl. 14:01
It is easier to buy them off Tolfdir (one of the mages at the College of Winterhold). Alternately you can use the console to give them to yourself (Tolfdir is a rip-off merchant with his prices... reminds me I need to reduce it, he makes them 4x what I set them to be).

To get the books with the console; open the console and type help "Spell Tome: Freeze Time" 4 (and slow time etc for the other ones) and then it'll give some little hexadecimal code (8 digit 0-9, A-F. Type the following to give yourself the book: player.additem XXXXXXXX 1 Where the Xs are replaced with the hexadecimal code you found in the previous step.
