v1.6.0 - Rimworld 1.4 Update
Features
- Updated to Rimworld 1.4 (Still compatable with 1.3 and earlier versions)
Technical
- Updated red wolf morphs to be compatible with the new version of Pawnmorpher.
Balance
- Rebalanced red wolf morphs to fit the new balance of Pawnmorpher. They are geared toward being fragile melee specialists compared to timber wolf morphs. They have better bonuses to melee combat, but less health and penalties to ranged combat.
v1.5.0 - Wolf Armor! (Animal Equipment support)
Features
- Added wolf armor, using the wonderful Animal Gear and Animal Equipment mods. Requires both mods to work.
- Custom art for all kinds of armor in Animal Equipment: Clothing, Plate, Flak, and Power Armor
- Also includes art for the pet scarf and a custom-made red wolf sweater.
Bugfixes
- Fixed the spawn chances of red wolves. You should see them spawn regularly in the wild now.
- Red wolves are slightly rarer than timber wolves in Temperate Forests and Temperate Swamps
- They are significantly rarer than timber wolves in Boreal Forests and Cold Bogs
- They also rarely spawn in Arid Shrublands
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue with the Pawnmorpher integration where the red wolf injector would sometimes fail to actually do anything
Balance
- Rebalanced red wolf stats along the same line as the changes vanilla wolves got in 1.3
- Red wolves are significantly more likely to retaliate on injury or a failed taming attempt. They are still less likely to do so than timber wolves, however.
- Red wolves produce proportionally less filth compared to timber wolves due to being smaller
- Removed the nuzzle chance to bring them in line with vanilla canids (RIP wolf nuzzles, you will be missed)
Technical
- Swap from using XML patches to conditional LoadFolders for the Pawnmorpher integration in 1.2 & 1.3. This should have no visible effect but will probably slightly decrease loading time.
Features
- Updated to Rimworld 1.3 (Still compatible with 1.2 and earlier versions)
- Additional content for the Pawnmorpher integration
- Added support for progressive mutation graphics to the mutations that have graphics
- All red wolf mutations now have multiple stages
- New red wolf morph backstories
Balance
- Rebalanced red wolf morphs to make them more flavorful while giving them a clear niche. See the patch notes or changelog for details.
Changes
- Updated the Pawnmorpher patch again for their new update (Thanks to IronWolf for providing an updated patch)
Thanks!
Features
- Updated to Rimworld 1.2
Changes
- Updated the Pawnmorpher patch with a more efficient version from the devs
v1.3.0 - Pawnmorpher Support
Features
- The long-awaited support for Pawnmorpher! Can't find these elusive canines? Make your own out of useless prisoners I mean voluntary test subjects!
Bugfixes
- Alternate graphics now work on 1.1. Apparently they were broken this whole time, sorry!
Animal Variety Coats is no longer needed in 1.1 (but still recommended anyway!)
