(ground shaking)

@Flare i personally disagree, jitter is good for handheld camera effect. You just have to know how to use it properly, as with all things
MaxMartian 7. mar. 2020 kl. 21:58
Interesting, gives a new use of a camera like live action, should be a welcome change for SFM cinematography!

All these people saying that "The jitter effect is better"

Jitter effect looks so un-natural, I mean it's good for explosions and stuff but if you want REAL life like camera motion, This is the addon.

Eh.... it's not really the same because then if you want to make any changes to the root transform or position/rotation you'll have to reapply the jitter, then if you want a certain effect like SUPER jitter half way through, and want to smooth it, you'll be smoothing other values you may not want to be smoothed. Plus normal cameras don't just shake with random values, there is life to mocap, not in random jitter applications...
CGI Slam 4. mar. 2020 kl. 19:16
you can always just turn on offset mode, or just apply jitter after making your camera animation
Ron Ducats  [ophavsmand] 4. mar. 2020 kl. 16:10
It is easier to apply however you will run into problems if you want to rotate the X Y Z of the camera, unless you attach the camera to a model. But if you do it that way, might as use this xD
CGI Slam 4. mar. 2020 kl. 11:53
i mean, jitter is just more efficient imo. Apply jitter to the y pos (or whatever axis is vertical in sfm), smooth it, then apply jitter to the rotation separately and smooth it.
Ron Ducats  [ophavsmand] 4. mar. 2020 kl. 1:26
I ensure you it's not the same, or at least my other version isn't. This has a sense of reality attached to it, unlike a random jitter application
Angri 4. mar. 2020 kl. 1:10
You can just apply jitter and smooth it for a better effect, but an interesting experiment

@surfer171 Here is the example, it can make your shake in a natural cinematic fashion for run and gun cinematography https://youtu.be/ZjG28QU4XVQ

so exactly what does it do? show a quick video demonstration.
