what are the exact conditions for town takeover? There are characters with a tag for this mod, do i have to kill all of them? Do i just have to kill the one with a leader tag? is it a complete purge where i have to kill all the ones with the mod label, the characters in town with diplomatic status and their lieutenants?
Lastly, does a takeover require the deaths of the needed character/s, or does kidnapping and imprisonment work?
2. You should leave the town and go far enough with your people so that the town will reload itself. Then once you return, the town should show up as a green color, showing that they are allied to you. Blue is your color, red is hostile, and green is for friends.
1) Does this mod account for relation consequences? Like if i kill a bunch of people in a town vassalizing it, are they gonna shoot me when i go to collect taxes?
2) where would i see the change in town status? when i mouse over it on the map will the controlling faction be mine?
3) my best guess for why its not working is a mod conflict. Would it be more likely to be the 256 recruit limit one, or a buildable resource node one?
What you can do is put this mod into the editor and see what I have changed. In there, you can edit the characters that spawn inside vassal towns to your liking. It is relatively simple to do if you have the basics of the editor under control. You can look for you YouTube channel for a video on the editor. It's quite long but it should include what you need.
There is a small window when you enter a town that shows you the owner of the town. Who owns the Hub when you enter it?
Forgot to get back to you. I looked at it and didn't find an issue. It could be a mod conflict or something I missed.
@youwandag
I think if you edit this mod, you can make any faction table it over and the game might automatically populate it with the faction's guys. Specific changes are difficult for me to make as the basis needs to stay as neutral and uniform as possible.
The limited version will allow you to take over locations other than main towns and so on. It's unfortunate that there needs to be so many different versions but three is still manageable.
Also -- I didn't realize I needed TOTW-Limited to take over *towns*, good to know! Thank you.
