It causes the wretched "Failed to find faction base tile" error. Does NOT work for me.

@AI Android so uhhh does it works in 1.2 ?

@Zerithos XIII

Do you think a patch for medieval royalty is possible? I tried to test it. If you put Families above Medieval Royalty, only the main empire is patched to medieval. But if you put Families under medieval royalty, clone faction wouldn't spawn at all.

So there are two options on how to reach a goal. We can create reprogram medieval royalty to patch both empires. Or we can reprogram Families to clone empire after it has been patched. And I believe the second option shouldn't be difficult.

I'm not saying you need to update this, but I'm gonna see if it works for 1.2 and report back as I made the mistake of doing deserter and now have no psycasters.
Skynert 23. mar. 2020 kl. 10:24
Well, I turn off this mod for testing and... on the world map I have two empires xD
Drake McTine 23. mar. 2020 kl. 10:13
there is a mod from Outpost21 that should fix the quest tab problem...

I'll pop out the Psionics compat patch now seeing as the non-hostile version of that is working, even if the hostile one isn't yet. Maybe that'll fix ya, but I don't even see anything related to Two Families in that error log, aside from the inherited minor one from Hospitality (which I'll fix too).
Zeri  [ophavsmand] 23. mar. 2020 kl. 8:22
Interesting. I've had the opposite issue before on the Hostile side, where they didn't appear on the map but did in quests and factions. I'll look into it now but decent odds there're too many mods in that list for me to test. Thanks for the log. :Kayto:

Strange but it stop work... on world map there is 2 Empires. But in quest tab and faction tab only one https://gist.github.com/f18411317dbdc491ef64d4d78c199e45

Shouldn't matter. Very much separate mods, even if they do similar jobs. This one just happens to be way simpler and less ambitious :lunar2020sweatrat:
Skynert 23. mar. 2020 kl. 7:22
Put this after megacorp mod or before?
Zeri  [ophavsmand] 16. mar. 2020 kl. 20:54
Updated slightly, added Hostile version as a separate mod.
Drake McTine 10. mar. 2020 kl. 16:12
that is exactly what I think, no reason to make a pawn noble within two families...thanks!! I will try this on my next colony
Zeri  [ophavsmand] 10. mar. 2020 kl. 15:56
Yes, unless you get titles with both on the same pawn, I think. Dunno why you'd play that way, however.
Drake McTine 10. mar. 2020 kl. 15:20
that sounds nice. If I am understanding this description, they are 2 different empires and one will aways dislike you if you earn titles with the other? I mean, you are broking the psycast laws of one or another (or both)...
Zeri  [ophavsmand] 10. mar. 2020 kl. 8:46
Not really. I just don't feel that it's totally necessary to force both factions to use the starter quests. There are plenty of ways to screw or join the Empires.
Ny_Hate_You 10. mar. 2020 kl. 8:23
I have a question, only one faction give me the quest of the wimpy knigth (the starting one) is that intended?
Zeri  [ophavsmand] 9. mar. 2020 kl. 23:15
@AshleyWest21 Should've seen More Quests coming, but didn't know about it! Thanks! If I get around to giving my mod an increased quest count I'll make sure to patch it in such that it doesn't overwrite More Quests.
Video Games Exist 9. mar. 2020 kl. 19:54
This mod + Megacorps + More Quests mod = 3 factions to earn special favor from who constantly pester you for help XD
Koi 9. mar. 2020 kl. 16:15
Cool. It's like war of the roses.
tha peng 8. mar. 2020 kl. 22:44
Capulet and Montague I like it
Zeri  [ophavsmand] 8. mar. 2020 kl. 19:46
I'm looking into increasing the number of quests they send out soon. I think I'll have a separate mod based off this one where the second empire doesn't send quests, so that the peace-making issue can be bypassed. Should still allow for the few other traits the Empire actually has as a hostile faction.
JessieFeathers 8. mar. 2020 kl. 14:10
great mod idea! But you would have to up the amount of quests they give you right? or is it like the same but now can be from the other faction?
Ravinglegend 8. mar. 2020 kl. 13:55
For whatever reason the empire takes a long time to realize you don't want to be friends. I've betrayed them before, but they still send quests. I think they do it in-case you screw up, they should honestly go full hostile after the traitor quest.
Zeri  [ophavsmand] 7. mar. 2020 kl. 17:17
I don't think so. I'll probably look into it as I'm getting a lot of quests for the enemy empire where I only want Favor from the other one and it's kind of annoying.
Video Games Exist 7. mar. 2020 kl. 15:36
Really fun mod concept! I am wondering: does this increase quest frequency since there are two empires to quest for?
Zeri  [ophavsmand] 6. mar. 2020 kl. 9:51
Exactly why I wanted it myself!
keylocke 5. mar. 2020 kl. 21:24
nice! this would allow me to play rebel and loyalist at the same time!
