No i don't have one. I did the pathing completely using the grid mode.

Do you have a walkthrough on how to set up the pathing?

@andyb_subs in the back of the enclosures you see the little open archway right ? And then there is a scenery door right behind it. You can fit the habitant doors into the archways and have the walkway through the scenery door. Your staff will just walk straight through the scenery with no issue.

Really like this and want to add to my zoo but cannot work out how to get the habitat gates into the 2 small enclosures or the large Lemur enclosure? Still new to this but think I have worked out the pathing, just not the habitats.

In the end I did have to shift the whole building because I may have aligned it to the wrong grid, but that wasn't a big issue. I used the empty space inside the dome as a water feature for the dwarf caiman and it looks dope! Glad you like my idea. Keep it up
Tuub  [author] Nov 10, 2022 @ 8:59am
Glad to hear there's still interest in the build! The paths are all based on the standard grid, so having the first tile right should allow you to grid all of it perfectly. Thank you for the tip though, i'll be sure to put a screenshot of the path with a future build for sure! :D

Damn thats an old build but it looks so awesome! I've downloaded it yesterday to put into my zoo today. Got a tiny bit of an issue placing all the paths how you may have imagined them and I'm definetly missing a few pieces (in the dome for example it's half empty) but I'm sure I can make it work and it will be a perfect addition to my zoo. However if you have the time and want to put in the effort, maybe a video of you how you envisioned the paths and how we efficiently put them down would be a great help for less experienced players. Or maybe a top down view with the roof tiles deleted and a checker pattern for easier counting of grid tiles! Loving it anyways tho !

I'm glad to hear that!
poofbegone Jul 16, 2021 @ 12:39pm
Just back to reiterate that this is an awesome build that I still use
Jasper Jul 2, 2021 @ 12:25pm

ok thank you i will try and i will tell you that
Tuub  [author] Jul 2, 2021 @ 12:17pm
Maybe you are missing some research? Some animal research (toys for Lemur or Tortoise) is required for the build as well.

Translation (i hope google didn't mess up too bad): Peut-être que vous manquez quelques recherches?

Tuub  [author] Mar 11, 2020 @ 12:23pm
It's a known issue, i didn't take guest happiness into account when building the plaza, so if you care about your guests you indeed need to change a few things. As for the barriers, you have to use the invisable barrier to make it work.
poofbegone Mar 11, 2020 @ 11:59am
I think this is a beautiful build, but I had some issues with some of the staff facilities being too close to the information booths, which has a negative impact on guests. I was able to resolve this by building facilities on top of the building in a different area, then adding walls, windows, roofs, and connecting the staff path upstairs. I also had to edit the scenic exhibits and replace them with real barriers to make them real exhibits, but the end results look awesome. For the most part, this entrance plaza is ready to go, but does require some work if you don't want guests to complain about the staff facilities.
Tuub  [author] Mar 10, 2020 @ 1:21pm
Glad to hear you made it work! :)
Bloodseeker Mar 10, 2020 @ 11:45am
It's cool, you left enough space so I can just slightly change the building and move it :) Also the plaza looks so fantastic and it makes it easy for a gamestart (as soon as you got the money to build it) as you already put in nearly everything a Zoo needs to run :)
Tuub  [author] Mar 10, 2020 @ 11:43am
Good to see you figured it out!
Ah yes, that might indeed happen. I must admit i haven't paid much attention to guest happiness.
Bloodseeker Mar 10, 2020 @ 11:41am
I finally managed to place the door ^^ The key was to move the fencepart a bit more to the inside of the habitat (Ive read in another guide these lines should always be behind the walls, so animals won't be "escaping", so yeah that was too deep inside of the building for the door).
Thanks a lot for your great building and your support ^__^
Just one thing, I gotta move the Worker's Buildings because otherwise people will see and complain about the staffrooms when buying things in the informations >.<
Tuub  [author] Mar 10, 2020 @ 4:02am
Thanks! Love your video's ;)
Paul Mar 10, 2020 @ 3:53am
I love the feel of this one with the modern wood!
Tuub  [author] Mar 9, 2020 @ 4:46pm
You have to place the gate slightly in front of the opening, otherwise the game considers it blocked. If you have to place them too far from the opening (so the animals can get out) you can always fill up the hole with some rocks.
Bloodseeker Mar 9, 2020 @ 4:32pm
Hmm how did you set the entrance for the habitats? I placed invisible barricade around it but it seems I can't place the door. I can place it, when i remove the way, but then I can't set up the way correctly anymore... whatever I try, it's always "blocked" either the door if I place the floor first, or the floor if I place the door first...
Tuub  [author] Mar 9, 2020 @ 1:27pm
I gave it to the lemurs, but you can put anything small in there i suppose as you can make the outside as large as you want.
Bloodseeker Mar 9, 2020 @ 1:12pm
uh btw. i cant see it on screenshot, what animals did you plan for the habitat with the glass roof?
Bloodseeker Mar 9, 2020 @ 1:10pm
Take a look at the Screenshot, he placed it so you can see everything how it's meant to be placed :)
Tuub  [author] Mar 9, 2020 @ 10:03am
Could you elaborate? I'm not sure i understand what you're aiming at.
Jim Mar 9, 2020 @ 9:59am
where can i find the entrance?
Tuub  [author] Mar 9, 2020 @ 12:20am
Haha quite a few yes ;)
Bloodseeker Mar 9, 2020 @ 12:08am
Thanks! Thats an amazing job you done here, you probably spent a lot of hours :O
Tuub  [author] Mar 8, 2020 @ 11:59pm
No problem. To lay down the paths it's easiest to use the grid. There's an option for that in the bottom right corner.
Bloodseeker Mar 8, 2020 @ 10:17pm
Ah thanks a lot. I'm fairly new tho... how is it possible to place roads in a way you did on the screenshot? Like fill the space with it??
Tuub  [author] Mar 8, 2020 @ 8:57pm
Try unlocking the toys for the Aldabra Tortoise and Nile Monitor, i think that's what's missing.
Bloodseeker Mar 8, 2020 @ 8:38pm
What are the requirements to unlock it ingame? I unlocked all technology already but I still can't but this
Tuub  [author] Mar 8, 2020 @ 8:18pm
Ah i see, yes, normal paths are terrible when making a square. The width i used was 4m as well, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Good luck!
xplicit27 Mar 8, 2020 @ 9:19am
i haven't yet. Still learning game unfortunately. I will try that because what i am doing currently is not working at all lol. I have been trying to match the width (i think 4m) and then go around the outside but when i try to fill the middle in it just makes small paths with gaps between them. haven't figured out how to make it look all one floor.
Tuub  [author] Mar 8, 2020 @ 9:05am
Have you tried using the grid to lay down the floors?
xplicit27 Mar 8, 2020 @ 8:36am
Cannot figure out how to get the floors to look clean like you have in the screenshots. is there a simple trick that i haven't figured out yet?
Tuub  [author] Mar 8, 2020 @ 4:04am
It serves no real purpose, i just thought it looked good. I do think it's large enough for a small habitat though.
jurah Mar 8, 2020 @ 12:06am
It looks gorgeous, but what is the purpose of the circular building? It's too small to hold a habitat inside.
Tuub  [author] Mar 7, 2020 @ 12:24pm
That might be the problem then.
o_Pyro_o Mar 7, 2020 @ 12:16pm
Oh damn no im dumb
Tuub  [author] Mar 7, 2020 @ 7:56am
That's strange, it should just unlock once the research is done. Have you done the research on the toys for the animals? (Aldabra Tortoise & Nile Monitor)
o_Pyro_o Mar 7, 2020 @ 7:15am
I have all research done, why is it locked ?
Tuub  [author] Mar 6, 2020 @ 4:38am
Haha sadly it aren't, would've been cool though.
jmbrannan Mar 5, 2020 @ 9:28pm
Stunning work! I have a question, in picture 7 from left, it appears to show fish jumping in a pool of water. If that's the case, how did you achieve it? That alone would open up an entire new part of the game - aquatic. I hope. Thanks.
