am I able to change sectoid puppeteer's icon into sectoid commander one? because i like to use ABA with reskin mod and with your icons. however the reskin mod replace puppeteer's model into commander's like, which is inconsistent with icon now

Unfortunately yes as there was a limited number of icons at the time and it felt fitting to utilise the Black Legion icon at the time. Thankfully you can easily change this in your own configs if you wish, but we currently don't have a more unique icon for the Advent Sniper mod :)

Thank you! We added the mini icons to the frost legion and purge units rather than creating something like 30 new icons from scratch. So, it made sense to add similar things to the other big enemy packs.

My bad about 3 colos, there indeed is. Stunlancer one is much more noticeable for me for some reason. Maybe it's just that it's different style, i'm not sure.

There are a lot of icons that use 3 colours (or more 1 colour and 2 shades of black).
But yes you can restore the old icon if you wish. In the configs change instances of "eb_target_stunlancer" to "dotvhs_target_stunlancer" (or just remove the entries, to make this mod not do anything)

Is there a way to restore old lancer icon? The new one, while being much more distinct, uses 3 colors instead of 2 and it's also much wider than other ADVENT icons. I really don't like how it looks in comparison to others.

No problem, you're welcome! To clear this up: The comment you quoted means that you should not use multiple mods that try to change the icons of the same enemies. This mod does not do that since it is meant to change enemies not covered by the first mod. It is perfectly fine to use both.

Then Idk what's wron gwith my game bc MECs won't show the MEC icon properly, but instead some other type of enemy unit (looks like a AdvTrooper?)

Vanilla units are covered by the mod linked in the compatability section, not by this one. And yes, you can use both of them together.

I'm having an issue where Mecs aren't being shown the proper icon, I have various Enemy Advent mods in , but this is the first I'm hearing of this. And it's just Vanilla MECs so I'm not sure what could be the issue?

There is, the big issue is Claus' work is unique enough they deserve their own style icon.

NelVlesis did 99% of the artwork in this mod, I simply put all the code parts of it together.

Without him (or someone better than me!) providing new Art Assets there can be no updates.... and NelVlesis has stepped away from modding for XCOM2 for a while :(

Thanks for the report! I'm not going to list it as an incompatible mod as that mod seems to be for Vanilla and would not be compatible with a lot of things in WOTC ...

It does have a WOTC update that you could try ...

You can try enabling your mods in batches until this one breaks and let me know which mod causes it.. and I'll put a Known Conflict issue in the description.

What to do when neither this mod or the other one do not update the icons in game even tho enabled? i deleted cache, made new campgin varified files.. no help

Config files can be opened in any decent text editor like Notepad++ or VSCode ... the config file for this mod should be pretty easy to follow/understand once you look at it.

Yes, if you have units you want to use them on.
It is a simple edit of the config files matching the enemy template name, to the correct icon path

As far as I know, it's compatible. I don't play LWOTC personally so I can't tell you for sure, but none of the core LWOTC players I talk to have said it has any issues.

Just finished a campaign with about 280 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up, saw a ton of these pop up and they were a huge help when I had like 10+ enemies around.

Yeah, it should be like that. That way, they use the proper icons. Currently, priest and exalted priest use priest, and bishop uses bishop.
