@SSS-class Warlock I've encountered the same issue, and in my case it is vanilla books expanded. (Im not sure if Odyssey introduces book-writing feature or not) Colonists won't pick up an unfinished book and finish it, ever.

It's apparently Odyssey that introduced writing, but I am not so sure anymore that this issue I am talking about even exists. I got a lot of colonists and all unfinished books are just called "unfinished textbook" after all. A few are about 10-20% done, so maybe I was just imagining it, jumping to conclusions.

Makes sense.
I noticed an issue with your mod, though. Pawns assigned to writing (the bill set to forever) just keep starting new books every time they start writing something. So I got a big pile of barely started books and not a single one will ever be finished at this rate.
It appears that these books are all detached from their bill, which is fine when it comes to components or strict division of labor, but something of a problem with writing.

hey Jellypowered, after some testing i found that there seems to be an incompatibility with the mod Finish It! and your mod, in-case you want to update the incompatibilities listing. FI! adds the widget, but does nothing when clicked. I'm guessing that because your mod removes the unique author for the item, the game doesn't know who to assign the job to (as the tag says "everyone") so instead does nothing at all.

I'm new to this mod. Had no idea someone made something so brilliant. Especially in 1.6 when space is limited for those massive Fabrication benches. Thanks for making this!

how does this work "Craft Timeskip" psycast that instantly completes an item crafting as if the job author finished it? the psycast is from Vanilla psycasts expanded.

Sorry if it was mentioned before, i couldnt find it.

Very Amazing. It makes life so much easier. And the storage room so much cleaner.
One thing that could make it even better is that if you designate a specific working when starting a crafting task that it then still would designate the items made with that task with the selected worker.

I never commented on here, but this Mod is truely amazing. Gone are the days, of dozens of dozens of unfinished components or bionics laying around, because someone else now uses the crafting bench

@Zo_Confuzled, just assign that task to a specific pawn, or set the the threshold high so only a highly skilled pawn will complete the task. Its in the details screen of the task creation.

Might be a big ask, but wish there was a way to make this only apply to certain things or to things witch dont have quality? So say armor of high value still is made by spesific pawns but anyone can finish a component or something like that

hi one thing that helped me on an older version, was to make a temp stockpile near the bench, and making sure that no one was specified as the person to be making things, and then someone else came and finished it - i usually use the Achtung mod to force-right-click a task and at least for Mercer's backpacks and for components, it seems to fix that issue)
