@Mojobosn Could you kindly update to the newest equipment? They added hoses, tie downs and cables that is very useful.

I sure can; I need time on the weekends to work on them and dig up some blueprints. The Hiyu was on the Bainbridge run and retired a couple of years back. I'm trying to sit and get a good mission for the Anderson Island ferry. Thanks for the patience (we finally have some good weather here and am busy for the summer).
The Specialist Jul 15, 2020 @ 11:01am
Nice! Can you also do some WSF?
Mojobosn  [author] Jul 13, 2020 @ 8:06pm
I'll make a mission with an updated ferry and docks this weekend if I'm not at work. I'm also working on the MV Hiyu and will post it soon.
The Specialist Jul 6, 2020 @ 11:48am
Can you also make a mission that has ferry ramps on every island, so you can do a ferry service?
The Specialist Jul 6, 2020 @ 11:36am
Thanks.
Mojobosn  [author] Jul 6, 2020 @ 11:05am
Yeah, try it again. The upper part of the ramp should match the drive-on end to the creative island, and the end to the ferry once lowered and magnets turned on should have a semi-smooth transition to the deck. Try lowering the ramp until it pushes down on the bow slightly and with the mag-alls engaged should hold the ferry level when vehicles are driven on. Load equally left and right and once the magnets are disengaged the ferry should float level.
The Specialist Jul 3, 2020 @ 1:40pm
Have you fixed it yet?
The Specialist Jun 30, 2020 @ 2:00pm
The current ramp sits very high. Hard to manage having it touch the deck.
Mojobosn  [author] Jun 30, 2020 @ 12:10pm
I'm testing and have made the dock wider to fit more vehicles. The current dock is in the workshop and I'll post a finished mission when it is complete.
The Specialist Jun 30, 2020 @ 9:06am
Also, can you make a mission with the ferry ramps on every island? I know that's a lot to ask, but it would be very cool.
The Specialist Jun 30, 2020 @ 9:03am
Are they done?
Mojobosn  [author] Jun 28, 2020 @ 7:44pm
I have some fabbed up, I will post them this afternoon. I need to finish them into a working mission between creative island base and camodo island. I used mag-alls attached to the ramp to maintain the vessel list and trim while loading and can then be released.
The Specialist Jun 28, 2020 @ 3:48pm
How are the ramps coming along?
The Specialist Jun 27, 2020 @ 8:54am
of course
Mojobosn  [author] Jun 27, 2020 @ 2:22am
I have time this weekend to add my ferry docks to the workshop along with a mission to spawn them; thanks for the patience.
The Specialist Jun 24, 2020 @ 11:38am
When will the ramps be released?
Mojobosn  [author] Jun 24, 2020 @ 1:20am
Try the engine circuit breakers again (cycle on/off) and start the engines again. Hopefully this takes care of the power issue, but I will try the ferry with the latest update to verify that it still functions. Any more issues, please let me know.

how do you drive this thing again? cause then only button i can press is the fire alarm
The Specialist May 28, 2020 @ 2:28pm
When will the ramps be released?
Mojobosn  [author] May 15, 2020 @ 12:11am
Yeah, I have a dock and pier, just haven't had a chance to work on making it into a mission; been back to work for the last month.
rmitchvip1 May 14, 2020 @ 11:26am
Sup , are you still working on the ramps
Mojobosn  [author] Apr 30, 2020 @ 2:58am
Hey no problem. I had to change to logo because of copyright , but it should be close to the real deal. Still working on it.
Murder inc. Apr 30, 2020 @ 1:06am
grew up riding this ferry! cant believe i scrolled past this ship. thank you much!
Mojobosn  [author] Apr 25, 2020 @ 2:04pm
If there are no lights on the panel displays and power at the relay switch, check the circuit breaker position in the engine room for Main 1 and 2 (bottom breakers). They should both be "on". Try that and let me know if it corrects.
PingPong Apr 25, 2020 @ 2:00pm
no, the engine is running but cant accelerate or anything
Mojobosn  [author] Apr 25, 2020 @ 1:58pm
No power available at the Nav/display relay switch?
PingPong Apr 25, 2020 @ 1:57pm
i can only press the pilot hosue light thats the only button i can press
Mojobosn  [author] Apr 25, 2020 @ 1:55pm
In the engine control room, all circuit closed (on), fuel cut-off showing in the "on" position, then bump the start switch above it for engine start. You can can select Main electric 1 and 2 "off", but when you open the Batt or Engine main breakers it will kill the engine.
PingPong Apr 25, 2020 @ 1:44pm
should all breakers be on off or on?
Mojobosn  [author] Apr 25, 2020 @ 1:35pm
Try closing and reloading Stormworks; I loaded a new update at 1308 my time. In the engine room when you close all breakers, the fuel cut-off defaults to a "on" condition which is fuel pump run. If the switch is off, the fuel pressure dies off. Is that the engine die off problem for you, or is it when you drive in the pilothouse? Also take a look at the new switch label when you enter the pilothouse adjacent to the light switch; both need to be "on" for the nav, displays, and lights to function.
PingPong Apr 25, 2020 @ 12:40pm
Still doesnt work
Mojobosn  [author] Apr 25, 2020 @ 12:15pm
I split the Pilothouse Nav and display circuits using a relay switch at both No.1 and No.2 end entrance doorways next to the pilothouse light switch. Try using both switches on, if it doesn't work for you, let me know. Splitting the electrical circuit made a more realistic simulation of the bridge, and lets the user shed the electrical load. For the stalling engine, I made the throttle respond more; I'll try to adjust the PID again so it won't stall. Thanks for letting me know, I'm glad to know people are trying it. Ferry dock will be released soon.
PingPong Apr 25, 2020 @ 10:48am
unable to press buttons in bridge hosue
PingPong Apr 25, 2020 @ 10:45am
the engines just stall
PingPong Apr 25, 2020 @ 10:39am
doesnt work anymore
Takoyaki Apr 16, 2020 @ 2:17am
Oh okay thank you
Mojobosn  [author] Apr 16, 2020 @ 12:59am
Our local ferries use a ramp on the pier side not on the vessel; I'm finishing up a mission with the pier/ramp and will post it soon.
Takoyaki Apr 15, 2020 @ 10:08pm
ramp?
Mojobosn  [author] Apr 15, 2020 @ 3:17am
Thanks for the comment; I will fix the LIDAR logic along with cleaning up some other logic issues in the next day or so. I also have a ferry dock now and am making a mission with several stops for load/unload.
lashrathius Apr 14, 2020 @ 3:07pm
Thanks for the incredible ferry! Extremely detailed -- even a working elevator! Just wondering - is it possible to make the LIDAR antennas stop spinning when the monitor is off?
Mojobosn  [author] Mar 29, 2020 @ 2:15pm
Sure, no problem. I'm taking advantage of the down time with my family and will be updating the vessel with autopilot and working anchor. Will be finishing the loading dock modeled after our local docks soon.
BigDamnHer0 Mar 29, 2020 @ 12:39pm
Would you mind if i used this project, and rebuild most of it besides the hull for a project of mine?
I will of course give you the credits when and if it is going to be uploaded.
Mojobosn  [author] Mar 18, 2020 @ 6:44pm
Thanks for the comment. You might recognize the ferry from the Steilacoom to Anderson Island route. I'm still working on a mission to incorporate a dock that will stabilize the ferry when loading. Have fun!
FlyingFish19 Mar 18, 2020 @ 5:26pm
Nice, great work, and also I live in seattle
ISY Feb 24, 2020 @ 3:30pm
This is GREAT! I live on a sail boat in Sawntown marina in Olympia Wahshington. Anderson Island is just around the corner from me. I know that ferry very well. You did an amazing job with this. Check out my two sail boats I put on the workshop!

A fire alarm is such a simple yet such a nice feature to have. Even if you use it for sinking instead it adds an element to the atmosphere.
Mojobosn  [author] Feb 23, 2020 @ 9:40pm
Thanks for the positive feedback; I started this build as a project for my sons as we ride the ferries often. The ferry is a WIP and still needs some polishing and finish work done (PA and radio system, appearance items, simplified electrical and logic system). Securing vehicles in place is my next brainstorm.
