Are you still working on this Mod?

Hey Jake, i like the idea of this mod. But it doesn´t work for me. There are 2 problems:

1. I can´t create a software like an engine or an office software, because i can´t select an os. my game thinks, that there is no os which support that software. (the list of selectable os is empty)

2. some software types require the algorithm perk. but it´s neither available for my employees nor to me. i´m using the "more start options" mod and i started in 1970, so i´m not sure, if this is the problem, because algorithm is only available since 1980 i guess.

I think there may be a bug somewhere in this mod. I have developed just one piece of software so far and and haven't bought or sold any licence in the process, and yet on top of sales of +65,000 (which makes sense) I have income from licences of +160,000 (which doesn't make sense).

he only thing I don`t understand that when I see Hardware in mods when its a software making game? Or is like a Bios thing?

I wounder if cost prize can get higher on PC parts (I don't know), the A 10 was a PC prize vs. cost to low 11 is not a lot vs. a pc to 500 cost.

@Now Im Daz, Still going to go ahead with the Hardware Plan but might move it down the list. The more choices we all have, the better game we will have.

It looks like Hardware was recently added in another Mod. (Hardware Inc)
not saying it's not a nice-to-have, but your plans look like what's already been implemented

@SweatyGopher Im hoping there is a way, currently im just building out the types then I will have a look at expanding the companies list.

the biggest issue with expanding the software list is the lack of competition. Already there are times where no one is developing a game, or only one or two companies are developing in that category. Is there a way to increase the number of competing companies?

That's a lot of content you're planning to add, hope your development process goes down well. I'm hyped for the gaming branch in general.
