This mod is just vanilla assets chopped up and re-assembled so if someone wants to take the variantmesh files and do a re-skin that's fine by me.

Do you if it is possible to transform this mod into a graphical mod for regular units ? Could be compatible with SFO and I really thing they will shine a lot more !

Yeah, it's pretty much as you see it: a straight-forward upgrade for the core Empire factions.

I try to keep an eye on balance but I'm more interested in the spectacle of playing a TW game rather than the challenge.

That being said I do run mods tailored to each individual campaign I start to buff the factions I want to face off against. I'm used to just manually boosting enemies as and when I feel they need it so every campaigns starts with a hour or so of swapping regions / xp boosting faction leaders with save parser & console commands etc.

After several hour of play through, while i like the unit looks and the stats too but i do feel now empire core unit is so overpowered that i no longer need ror unit even imperial greatsword because how strong imperial halberds is. Is it intended effect?

@Now I Know This Girl, the 2 mods aren't designed to be compatible. AE is meant as a minor supplementary buff for vanilla Empire, NME is more of a light faction overhaul.

@Melinda, I'm glad you like it but I don't use standards myself so I'm not sure what's required. I'm trying to avoid multiple mod versions these days as it soaks up a lot of time keeping track of them all. If you're willing to open up the mod tools however I'm happy to walk through what you'd need to do for a simple re-skin mod. Pretty much just a copy+paste job.

@Crux2 thank you for the mod, I have question regarding this mod and Armoured Empire, playing as karl franz i can access stronger imperial troop earlier but empire troops latter on barrack level 3, is it intended?

I've just tested it and it's working fine on its own and with my current mod list. Could you try running the mod on its own with no others loaded and see what it does? If it's still bust I can only guess that it's a faulty download or something. Also are you using Kaederin's Mod Manager or the vanilla launcher?

For some reason the state troops are not spawing in their their armor. The Militia units look correct. But the rest do not.

I guess that makes sense - I've never modded myself, do you think there might be a workaround or something though? This mod is really my favorite empire mod, but it would be nice to be able to add other unit mods too? I understand if not possible, thank you for creating this mod in the first place!

Can't be sure but off the top of my head it's probably because of the way I had to implement the changes. I didn't want to change every faction that draws on 'empire' units - just the core empire itself. This meant changing a bunch of stuff like which faction was assigned to which 'military group' and a bunch of other stuff that fiddles with how nicely it plays with other mods that add empire units.

I love this mod, but for some reason it makes almost any other mod that adds units non-function. EG, I would love to use this mod and the Reiksguard Griffon Knights/Imperial Guard units by Nox, but these units don't show up when using this mod.

I don't want to maintain multiple mods if I can help it but if you flick through a unit creation guide to familiarise yourself with the basic tools it should be pretty straightforward to open the mod up, find the SoS changes and delete everything else.

Yeah, I realise the mod isn't as compatible as it could be but there are reasons for it - I started out re-skinning the existing units but this is an Empire-specific mod and the basic units are also used by kislev/southern realms/rebels etc. Directly mod an Empire swordsmen for example and they all get the change.

Also, I personally stopped using T4 minor settlements as all the battles were getting a bit samey and I have a couple of private mods changing garrisons that are a pain to keep updated with T4 running together.

I love this mod. Here is the some things i have encountered. this mod is not compatible with the 4 level minor settlements mod. because you destroyed the whole garrisons and added the new units. you should just reskin the old units and add +50 armor to them. Then your mod will compatible with nearly EVERY mod in this workshop.

I'm not really open to maintaining variations as it's a huge time-sink but I'd be happy to explain how to personalise the mod to your tastes if you like. It's pretty easy to open the mod in PFM or RPFM and delete the changes you don't want the mod to make.

Is it possible to make a version That only includes the new units or select able skins for RoRs and Elector Units? I want to use this mod however it takes priority over some unit skins mods I chose for elector Elector units.

I used a mashup of the outrider/young noble chest and actual plate for the melee state troops. Outrider/YN as standard for ranged & light cavalry. Greatswords are full plate from their standard model mixed with demi-gryph knights.

As for stats: melee state troops armor to 80, ranged to 40, cav to 50, militia to 30. Minor tweaks aside from that.
