This mod needs to be updated. They could use for example a b2 as the mec or a tank or spider droid as the sectpod. I'm no mega super star wars nerd but I know there are some who have most likely used this mod and know the perfect driod from the cis to add to this. If the muffin isn't modding anymore then I hope someone else will one day try. I know if I ever learn to mod thats what I would do.

I did eliminate the other weapon mod conflicts but still can't their guns to appear during missions. Any suggestions?

Does anyone have advice for getting the blasters to appear, so far everything else works just fine for me but that (possible a replacer mod messed with it but I don't have it enabled so unsure)

If you're still having issues using this mod, try AshynnKor's advice

"For those trying to get it to show up in the 2k mod launcher

1. Go to your PC files > Steam > steamapps > workshop > content > 268500 > 1959410981
2. Then, open the Notepad that says AdventToCIS
3. Delete everything that is underneath the first Description line ( DESCRIPTION and below )
4. Save the edit
5. Refresh the modlist in the launcher. It'll be at the top listed as Advent to CIS

This was a trick I saw on an MWR SAS armour mod that worked on this one too when I tried it, I just had to find which mod folder it was in ( 1959410981 )"

Maybe use the original mod launch and start a new game file, it worked for me.

@Peidymac When you launch the game you now get to choose between "Open New Mod Launcher", "Open Original Mod Launcher" and the other versions of the game you have "Play XCOM 2", "Play War of the Chosen", etc... if you choose "Open Original Mod Launcher" the mod will work (at least for me).

So i tried using this and it only partially works, all advent troopers are renamed and use the right weapons but thier model is still the advent model, any help would be appreciated

i want to replace advent model from character pool.

I've read that Advent and Xcom use different source of character's model. But author of his mod somehow managed to replace advent model.

...Just adjust the actual game volume sliders? Their firing sound is normalized compared to the base game firing, it's just the same volume slider.

That's such a neat mod, like damn. But I can't find anyone having a problem that droids blasters are so loud... that made it really unplayable for me, as I have to lover SFX just for that, so I can barely hear literaly any effect, except their fire volume...

Vanilla launcher is hot garbage. Google for the Alternate Mod Launcher (AML) and use that one, then try again.

*ALTERNATE. MOD. LAUNCHER.* One google search, 90% of mods fixed. The new Firaxis launcher broke mods, period, so using it, downloading mods is pointless. AML is the solution to that.

Not sure why people are saying the mod doesn't work, it totally does work but it doesn't reskin ALL the units, for example I've been seeing Imperial Probe Droids and AT-TEs crewed by Imperial uh.. drivers? Dudes with the grey hat that goes down to the shoulder with black goggles. For the most part it is totally playable and pretty cool but obviously the biggest issues are certain units not changing to droids..

@ching cheng hanji are you using the default firaxis launcher? Because if so, don't. It's a pile of crap, and as previously stated in this thread, it breaks mods. Use "XCOM2 Alternative Mod Launcher"

Once again: Don't run mods on Firaxis' in-built launcher. It's broken and thus breaks mods.
Alternate Mod Launcher (AML) is easily found from a singular search on Google, and properly runs 95% of the mods I've run, this one included. I long for the days when mods are properly supported by the game devs again, but until then, the community is your best friend in this case.

Since yesterday this mod has randomly stopped working for me, despite having all of the requierements. It has gone as far to not even appear in my mod list, even after I unsubscribed then subscribed back to it

I distinctly hope we get another try of this. Sectos as either tac droids or dark adepts to fit either the field commander or psi-based roles respectively, (if someone can find the models, Clone Wars Adventures had two *great* outfits that would fit the motif beautifully for the latter) mutons/berserkers as B2s, (also another game that had a great match for the Berserker, being the Revenge of the Sith game. One of the early enemy types you deal with are literally just bulkier B2s built to be in melee with sabers) and I'm unsure what for Sectopods. I feel like half the mechanized for the CIS wouldn't work, beyond possibly the tripods we see on Christophosis, since they have a siege form that would fit for the 'pod's readying itself, or vultures, since they have basically the same thing, just with their head raising up, but I don't think they access stronger weaponry in their case, unlike the former.

This was a good mod. But it can be greater.
