"nothron" should just be called "carpet bagger" or something similar; it's an already existing IRL cultural fusion. they came down when sherman burned down atlanta and that's why everyone who lives between there and savannah speaks with a different accent from the rest of the south. "nothron" would just be an eminently insulting thing to call any southerner.
