Oh okay! Thats interesting

The operating rooms are shared, so if none are available in the oncology operating area, they'll just use the next operating room available. Just how the game works unfortunately if this is what you mean.
Jotbe83 Jul 4 @ 2:51pm
Hey, for some reason there was a onoclogy surgery in my traumatology surgery room
Sleepy068  [author] Jun 28 @ 7:35am
Hey @Jotbe83, no blame on you by the way so please dont feel singled out, it is an issue that only really occurs because mods such as Oncology add lots of new exams and flood departments with a lot more work. The game does show this to some extent but there are ways they can be overloaded but not reflect it. The room workload screen is a good way to determine it to some extent as it might show 100% load rooms that might need expanding or if you need to do division of labour for clinic and hospitalised patients with labs, which might help handle the requests better. If you have troubles let me know, be happy to walk you through some solutions.
Jotbe83 Jun 28 @ 3:03am
Thank you for replying! I will take these things in mind.

Hey @Jotbe83, takes just as long as every other exam, there is no real duration to complete for exams just a sequence of actions the tech runs through to 'complete' it. Consider checking to make sure you have the staff and equipment available at your histology lab to complete the exams (for example, if you have 1 microscope, only 1 tech can use that at a time, which can slow exam processing). FISH has a priority of 20 too so blood exams and biopsy will be done first, if you don't have the staff to get them done quickly enough, you'll never beat the backlog of higher priority exams that might keep coming through.
Jotbe83 Jun 27 @ 6:20am
I don't know if this is this mod that adds it, but F.I.S.H Test takes way too long and all my patients leave.
Sleepy068  [author] Jun 4 @ 11:59pm
Otherwise, if you are using Bedside examinations or other mods that change rooms or the core game, you'll need to check those mods to see if they added more requirements, bedside examinations for example adds some new requirements like hand sanitiser for certain rooms if i remember correctly.
Sleepy068  [author] Jun 4 @ 11:57pm
Hey @nhassler, working fine for me, as pictured, don't just slap prefabs down without rezoning them to the specific department though, only ENT has its own prefabs. You can use other department prefabs you just need to go into the department and zone it as a Oncology Sonography room for example, otherwise it'll be an emergency sonography room or some other department. You'll know its the departments because it will be coloured in the department screen with the department you want selected, if it is grey, it is assigned to the another department.

Wont work. I cant put a sonography room in this MOD or Urology or The Vagina Doctor one. No matter what I do it says they are missing equipment and shows the exam table as the issue. I tested it and put like 10 in one room and still shows missing equipment and wont work. The only mod that does work is the ENT MOD.

Hey @Krissyg2k17, you'll need to unsubscribe from CRP (Community Resource Pack) as well as this mod, that'll make sure in specialist mode you don't see all the exams added by either mod.
Krissyg2k17 May 16 @ 12:55pm
I've enjoyed using this mod and similar mods to it, but I wanted to play specialist mode without mods for a bit and I find that even after unsubbing, all the examinations for this mod are still available. Any advice on how to remove them while the mod is disabled?

All DLC Ready - No Conflicts Detected, meaning no conflicts with the DLC or ingame patches. The mod doesn't conflict with the game itself which can happen when a mod isn't updated after a new patch or DLC that the developers release. It'll conflict with Bedside Examinations to the extent listed in the conflicts section but that is only because that mod changes a lot of the base game stuff.
Foorseti May 3 @ 7:42am
Hello, I would just like to ask a question. At the beginning of the mod description you said there are no conflicts, but further down you say there is a conflict with "Bedside Examinations (No DLC) by Butch".
I would like to know if there are any conflicts or not?

Sorry, I should have left a message for another mod
Sleepy068  [author] Apr 5 @ 8:06am
Hey @氷魂, Chinese (简体中文) is already in the mod if that helps and I am pretty sure it is up to date, if you are referring to a different Chinese dialect you'd need to find a translator and/or someone else to make a separate mod that simply adds this localisation into the game, unfortunately managing the localisation internally in this mod was a mistake, it is so much better and easier for translators to make addon mods that contain all the translations for other languages. Sorry it doesn't help too much but there isn't much I can do myself since I don't speak the language.
冰魂 Apr 5 @ 7:16am
we need chinese
Caligari89 Mar 12 @ 7:26am
if you will do such a job i will be one of your testers!!
Sleepy068  [author] Mar 12 @ 6:36am
Once I post my update, it will be considerably better but I cannot update CRP (i own the github but Mac uploaded it to Steam, contributors cannot post updates stupidly haha). I will try and make a patch mod eventually to globally clean everything up but it'll likely need to be code mod to work the best it can. Should help ensure all PH mods have an extended life regardless of support but it is on the To-Do list sorry.
Sleepy068  [author] Mar 12 @ 6:36am
Hey @Caligari89, you still have all the choices you'd expect, but many, many, too many, more. The modding community did sort of forget NoHints mode existed and the game did not provide the ability to disable exams (it lets you disable diagnosis to make patch changes but exams weren't on that list). CRP came in after a lot of departments posted their mods which meant the modders who were apart of it had to port over their mods to CRP. It was 'seamless' for players but it meant old exam code which could not be disabled remained, and hence will display in No Hints, will show up. Those exams are duplicates and do nothing. It'd kinda ruin the experience personally and slow the AI considerably as they will use the weights for exams and waste time.
Caligari89 Mar 12 @ 6:07am
If you play without "No Hints" in Diagnostics, do you still have the possibility to choose something in the diagnosis process or is it all automated?
Sleepy068  [author] Mar 12 @ 1:35am
Hi @jhhillman, there isn't sorry, I'd love it if there was a mod options that would let you tailor the mod but that level of modding isn't really possible. The biggest reason there are so many exams is because if a single biopsy exam was the only final exam (which in real life, biopsy usually is how you determine which cancer it is), you could literally just only do that exam every time and get the diagnosis (because of how the game works). It'd get pretty boring and very easy so i had to work around how the game functions a little. Definitely do not play with No Hints in Diagnostics, that'll cause a lot of bloat from exams that are in CRP but aren't used by any diagnosis.

Definitely get where you are coming from, if you ever wanted to you are more then welcome to take this mod and make a lightweight version. All my mods are CC 1.0 (Public Domain), so you are always welcome to take anything from them.
jhhillman Mar 12 @ 1:06am
Is there a more lightweight version of this mod? I really like the concept, but it adds so many different exams and labs that choosing tests becomes pretty clunky, even when I haven't built an oncology department.
Caligari89 Feb 27 @ 10:43am
Thank you very much for your fast answer and for the job you did! The problem of "no hints" in diagnostics is very boring, because yes, you get an infinite list of diagnosys available!
Sleepy068  [author] Feb 27 @ 7:34am
Hi @Caligari89, there has not been a patch for the missing localisation just yet sorry only because it doesn't really effect the game, just missing text (annoying but it wont break anything). I'll need to add prefabs first before I release the new patch because I know that has been heavily requested in the past, bit of testing wont hurt either just to make sure the large scale changes dont cause issues. No promise date for now sorry, PH isn't really my passion project anymore and I only continue to mod it to support the players.

The mod works as intended, granted with the odd issue as reported by lord_joshi but it should be extremely stable (just dont play no hints in diagnostics, it doesn't play nice with CRP because it just bloats everything because of how the game works sorry).
Caligari89 Feb 27 @ 5:00am
Hello @Sleepy068, did you upload that DESC thing? Does the mod work with the actual version of the game? And with the BETA?

Thanks in advance!
Sleepy068  [author] Feb 17 @ 5:17pm
HI @lord_joshi, ahh thanks, looks like that's been an issue for awhile as it should be TRT_CRP_FEP_DESC. I'll get that one patched up, thank you.
lord_joshi Feb 17 @ 12:06pm
Description missing for FEP Combination Treatment. It has just the placeholder !LOC! TRT_CRP_DEP_DESC.
Sleepy068  [author] Jan 12 @ 9:27am
Hi @spiderkeli, happy to help mate but your comment does not provide any context to the issue, can you please provide a log (C:\Users\*YOU*\AppData\LocalLow\Oxymoron Games\Project Hospital), called output_log.txt and check if you are correctly subbed to this mod, CRP and have built a Oncology department in your game. Otherwise I do need more details about the issue to assist you.
spiderkeli Jan 12 @ 8:03am
Patients no arrived, I need help.
Sleepy068  [author] Dec 5, 2024 @ 4:57am
Hey @Bibi, I'm not sure but without a doubt I'll be able to find out. If you've made sure the rooms are actually assigned to Oncology (prefabs will need to be remapped as Oncology rooms if you used those to build the rooms) then might be best to just send your save over so I can try and see what is wrong. Might be easier to use https://projecthospital.forumotion.com/f21-bug-reports and post a bug report there. Just make sure to put [MOD] in the title of the post so I can see it and the developers ignore it somewhat. Or just upload to google drive, or whatever works for you. You saves will be located here: Users\*USER*\AppData\LocalLow\Oxymoron Games\Project Hospital\maps

Hi, I am having the same problem as TL67TsWvKo, What should I do? It was detected at first, but then when I build Diagnostic room, HDU and Regular ward are not detected.
Alex Dec 1, 2024 @ 1:21pm
Hi, I'd be happy to work with you to improve the renal / GU cancers and possibly add more
Sleepy068  [author] Nov 1, 2024 @ 6:23pm
Hi @QX41_2, ahh good pickup! I almost always miss something when it comes to localisation D: I'll be sure to add that fix to the latest build, thank you!
QX41_2 Nov 1, 2024 @ 6:09am
Hello. I really like your mod. But I've noticed a small grammar mistake in one diagnosis. The diagnosis "Mucinous Colorectal Carcinome (Prue)". I think it should be "Pure" not "Prue" ;D
TL67TsWvKo Sep 8, 2024 @ 9:19pm
solved
TL67TsWvKo Sep 8, 2024 @ 9:07pm
Hi, I built the department yet it couldn't detect regular ward zone and HDU.
Betelguesse Jul 31, 2024 @ 3:28am
You can bypass the insurance company goal that wants you to play in the specialist mode which requires you to play with ''No hint in diagnostics'' by completing that goal before opening the department you can probably complete that entire insurance company in the first two weeks of the game
SCP-096 Jun 2, 2024 @ 8:44am
Hello. I am trying to use this mod with bedside examinations DLC version, but biopsy is unavailable.
tanyfilina Apr 4, 2024 @ 4:00am
That was my problem too, I was answered by CRP author. We need to use "No hint in diagnostics" to accomplish one of the insurance goals, but that is a temporary condition :)
Jovzin Apr 4, 2024 @ 1:44am
Thank you sir for the reply. So that is why they are suddenly all avalaible when I do the No hint in diagnostics option :D Now I understand :)

Was thinking yesterday, that this is the reason why I see treatments 2 times and all of the treatments avalaible when I do the No hint in diagnostics option :D
Sleepy068  [author] Apr 3, 2024 @ 9:43pm
@Jovzin, you won't see duplicate exams because we added them in with CRP (unless you play "No hint in diagnostics" for the best experience, I wouldn't play with this and any CRP mod). This is exactly why they are a general duty exam as it would limit new departments mods coming in and wanting to use CRP as a resource pool (for example, both Gynaecology and Oncology use the Mammogram exam). Because you can't patch XML in Project Hospital, there is no way to make them flexible or more realistic in the sense but I can see where you are coming from, another modder named Butch felt the same way, hence his mods focused more on making it more realistic.
Sleepy068  [author] Apr 3, 2024 @ 9:35pm
Hi @Tanyfilina, sorry that is intended, when the mod was originally made, department mods couldn't add prefab sections but they can now (technically could for awhile now). I'll no doubt need to come back at some point to add it in as it has been something requested a handful of times. While a bit more tedious, the best option just for now is to use other department prefabs and just change the room from say Neurology to Oncology. Sorry for the hassle!
tanyfilina Apr 3, 2024 @ 12:13pm
Hello! I decided to give a try to some department mods (this and Gynecology), and found out that there are no Prefab sections for them in the building menu. Is that intended or I've messed the mod installation in some way?
Jovzin Apr 3, 2024 @ 6:27am
I want to ask you. This mod is not duplicating examinations I hope ? And the examinations are done only on the Oncology department ? I mean I saw in other mod ( gynecology ) , that some examinations were able to be done on general care which I think should not be possible and they should be avalaible only in their own department.
Sleepy068  [author] Mar 27, 2024 @ 10:04pm
Hi @Lord_Shag, not specifically but the mod does add Astrocytoma and its stages if you have this mod installed and open a Neurology department. Neurology deals with these specifically so you dont need to worry about moving patients around departments or mucking around with them to get them to work. You dont need an Oncology department open either, they'll show up when Neurology is open.
Not 100% realistic sorry but the game won't automatically move patients between specialised departments if required so helps keep things simple and it made more sense for them to be neurology since it affects the brain.
Lord_Shag Mar 27, 2024 @ 7:36pm
Is there a neurological version of this I missed?
