this is my favourite mod in totalwar2。Every time I see the Lizardman faction, I always think of this mod。plz bring to ww3

@Ēarendel: For WH3 we wanted to shift the way the faction looks and feels in a completely different direction than what we did in WH2. The goal is to have a more warhammerized mix of ancient south american cultures, aesthetics and myths.
For this reason we did not bother to port the textures, as everything will have to be created from scratch anyway.

Gotcha. Sounds exciting. But if its ported why hasn't it been released? Would be nice to have until it's depreciated with a future update.

@Ēarendel: The mod itself has long been ported to WH3, but we are reworking basically everything: faction theme, unit roster, textures, animations, heroes, technologies, buildings, faction mechanics etc. So the whole process takes a lot of time and effort from multiple people, who are still focused on bringing the halflings to WH3 first.

Still not on WH3 is it not compatible that badly?

@Asar_Waroth: currently progress is rather slow as we decided to prioritise halflings for the time being. Also many members of OvN are taking a break from modding.

Any news on whether and how the porting of this to wh3 is going?

but cant see a way to recruit them
only vanilla regiments of renown

unless there is some guide on how to do it

@Lemur: Not sure which units you are referring to with special, but if you mean the regiments of renown, some unlock by lord levels and some via the sacrifices mechanics, which also gives access to some other units like the giant snake, coatl and jungle spirits.

@ Ubermorgen. Thanks for the answer. It is very clear. I also found out that there is a submod available for "Dogs of war". I have tried it and it works quite well. This is indeed an amazing set of units and the roster is comprehensive. Well done.

@Jestimac: If you only have this mod enabled any lizardmen faction can recruit the amazons units. If you enable it alongside mixu's unlocker + OvN they will be their own faction. No other factions have access to the units.

I also saw OVN mentioned in the comments. I'm not sure about what this is ?

The "expanded roster" mod indicates the Amazons are available only in custom battles. It seems to indicate that they would be available for campaigns only for Lizardmen or only in conjunction with the use of "Lost factions" and "Mixu's Unlocker".
Does this mean that the amazons are not available to join a Dark Elves army ?

Plan is Penthesilea will be normal and Lwaxana a semi-horde faction.

Yes please, I know this is a lot of work but this mod....oh lordy, this faction is fun to play. That and I like kicking ass with naked women. Just an idea, if you do port them over make them hybrid nomad like some of the chaos factions, with strongholds and outposts.

Agree with Hyperfyre, appreciate you and the team so much for making these and porting them over to WH3. Playing Amazons is something I'd never thought I'd be able to do in TW and you made it a reality! Thank you!
