@Mad yeah building and survival is pretty much the only aspect of that game at the moment but they are adding quests and more missions as the Alphas come along. You could try to join one of the PVE or PVP servers if you get too bored.

@Snikur Flux Coils have cobalt and you can find some cobalt rocks, they look like the other resource rocks but they spawn in the Radiated Biome. If you find a few wreck CVs you can salvage some components from the thrusters that have flux coils. I always go to the Alien POIs like the Abandon Factory and the Abandon bunker and get the easier loot in the cargo boxes. If you can make a SV go to the moon, most of them have a few Cobalt deposits and usually there are Cobalt asteroids around the starter planet. I added a screenshot to the image gallery.

I know what you mean! I also use jrandall's defense towers after I get my resources going. I did notice that the more cores you own, the more attacks you get. Each one is calculated and I have gotten 2 attacks at once.

Aye, usually how it goes. But by then you typically don't have that many issues upgrading. I tend to put down a few defence towers.. I've been using jrandall's for now. But I plan to build some in my own series as well, since I tend to build bases etc quite weapons free. I don't always like to put EVERYTHING in a single build. :) Keep it up!

This is neat, almost like a drop base and you've managed to cram in a lot of function in it as well. I honestly struggle to make this kind of cheap starter bases. Mostly because I tend to paint with shapes. :) Good job!
