@Stoßtruppen Hi ! Yes all my mods will be updated, Vanilla mods Included, Things are taking a while because more than an update I'm making a big overhaul of all my mods + adding new content. My Vietnam CE mods has been updated so you can check out the workshop page if you want to take a look at what sort of stuff are coming for all the other mods !

Sorry for the delayed response, I was in vacation.

@Le Chacal Bleu rifle grenade could be a great idea, I still may have some issues with textures size but I may just decide to be slightly historically inaccurate and make cut down version of standard rifles (like some Lee Enfield in WWII) and add a grenade cup on it, I will find a way.
Semiautomatic rifles are definitely planned, the RCS 1917 texture is actually already done, and the other 2 you mentioned were in the back of my mind too, so you can expect them at some point too!

I recently had a go with your Vietnam pack and had an absolute blast with the mounted machine guns, I'm extremely excited to see these old water cooled machine guns cut down endless pirates with 7.92. Best of luck.

If you do add some rare weapons/prototypes, I think some that might fit are like the Mexican Rifle Mondragon that the German Navy/Air force used or the French RSC 1917/1918 and even maybe the Russian Federov Avtomat. These guns were in somewhat decent numbers and saw limited combat though no where close to as reliable or as cheap as the bolt action rifles of the time.
There are alot of crazier prototypes out there that would also fit the Rimworld Universe.

Yay Pom Poms will keep those nasty centipedes away. Also I realised if you wanted to have a way to engage Mechanoids, how about having rifle grenade versions of the main rifles they are separate rifles but are only able to fire grenades which would be good against many types of raids. Yet in the end we all know a good counter to Mechanoid raid is a good bayonet/shove/club charge hahaha! Don't worry about frustrating me though I'm eagerly waiting even if it's just updating only the current weapons as their already great.

@Le Chacal Bleu I don't want to tease it too much to avoid people being frustrated because I still don't know how close the update will be, but you can also expect a bunch of static weapons like the Maxim QF 1 pdr Mk I "pom-pom", that should be quite effective against mechanoid raids.

I'll keep it as historical as possible but I may add some rare weapons / prototypes that would fit with the Rimworld universe.
I'm keeping all your suggestions on a note, they all ae really interesting, I can't guarantee they all will be added or when they will, but I'll definitely keep them in mind !
And for the T-Gewehr I wanted to add it for a while but due to the way Rimworld textures, the T-Gewehr would end up being the same lenght than a regular G-98 for exemple, and would look quite silly... so until I figure out a way to work around that without having to depend (if possible) to someone else mod it's in stanby sadly :/

I can't give enough thanks for your hard work especially now that your updating all of the packs especially since you are doing it for free. For suggestions I think it really depends on how you'd like the pack to be:

Strictly historical with mostly only weapons that were manufactured in somewhat large numbers and/or seen combat (The Italian Carcanos, Vetterli, Ross Rifles, Japanese Arisakas bought and modified by the Russians, Latvian troops using Winchester M1915s, Austro Hungarian Schwarzlose machine gun and maybe the ancient Portuguese Kropatschek rifle that the Austrians and French used. I would recommend some interesting pistols like the Frommer Stop, Belgian FN1900 or Steyr M1912 as well as some melee stuff like Officer swords and Pickaxes or heck maybe even the Mauser 1918 T-Gewehr if you wanna have an anti-mechanoid rifle haha)

I sadly only have some French blood from my family tree haha

Oh no don't worry I'm actually looking for suggestions, in fact some Italian weapons are already planned for the next update so even more suggstions are always welcomed, the Mannlicher M1895 will make a great addition !
If you have more, don't hesitate !

Yo I just wanna give you my sincerest thanks and praise for every single one of your great weapon packs. My favourite ones are this one as well as the Far West pack but also the MAS rifles from the Vietnam\WWII war pack (Essential for a French Foreign Legion stuck on a planet roleplay :D) All the packs are amazingly detailed.

I've got no complaints if this pack is considered feature complete but I'd love to have my colonist hold an Austro-Hungarian mannlicher M1895 if your looking for suggestions.

Ah I see, in the first place I made my own ammo because the "uncommon" ones tha came with CE before 1.1 were not properly coded, they had no armor penetration (it was quite annoying to see a burst of 7.62x25mm Tokarev bounce of raiders wearing tribal clothes), I may have forgot to change one of them indeed, I'm checking out immediately

@Pratt sorry I wasn't clearer. I'm running into a the problem where there are two distinct .30-06 ammo. As in the Bar takes a different .30-06 than the springfield 1903. Now please disregard if this makes no sense but I guessing to make it so that these wwi guns could not use high tech ammo like heat and explosive that come with combat extended, so you made a new ammo type with the same name (.30-06) and stats but you didn't include the more advance rounds. And that's true I think the BAR is just configured to take the original .30-06 that came with combat extended.

hey I'm not sure whats going on but I have the same double ammo problem that's mentioned before with the .30-60 for the 1918 bar and the two placed machine guns for the ww2 pack and the .45-70 government your old west pack. thank you for this awesome mod!

Omg I am writing this while playing the game and I just noticed that you made it so that the lebel rifle actually reloades its bullets one after the other. This is quickly becoming my favorite weapons mod for Rimworld, hats off to you

Thanks so much! Would it be possible to use my current colony but simply craft the new ammo? I have actually been avoiding using any of the guns with the broken ammo until this fix.

Warning ! after this update the custom ammo will be needed for your guns, I advise you to start a new colony or to spawn back your ammo in dev mode ! look at the change note for more infos

@Enjoy Acid I checked out the files of the round and you were right, their stats are not coded the same way than the more modern ones. I'm working on a patch right now it should be ready in a hour or two but it will make your weapons not compatible with the rounds you have already crafted, I advise you to start a new colony or to spawn back your ammo in dev mode when I'll have updated the mod.

@Pratt I figured out the turrets, you were right. However the ammos are still messed up. The lebel rounds, the mauser rounds and the 30-06 seem to be the ones messed up. The .303 british and the 9mm are all working as normal.

@Enjoy Acid all the ammo used are coming directly from CE, so it may be an issue coming from their side, however I will look into it today 1nd see what I can do.
For the turrets, did you make sure that you tried to build them in the assembly work bench like other weapons? It's not like the auto turrets.

also even after researching turrets, I cannot produce any turrets of these weapons such as the vickers. I also cannot produce the M1917 at all.

Having an issue where the 30-06 and other rounds added by this mod have 0 armor penetration. Any upcoming fix for this, or is this a load order issue?

@vostov omg thank god you are here to gave me feedbacks I don't play with this mod currently so I don't see problems like that which came from copying and pasting x) I will correct that immediately.
I'm currently finishing retexturing the japanese weapons, you can expect a American and a Japanese WWII CE mod in the following days !

Oh,btw the scoped rifles stat, it function the same as lebel in term of reload and magazine capacity, it is understandable on how the reload works but all rifles have magazine capacity of 8 round excluding (the lebel from the said issue).
