absolutely great :) and it's working - not sure about commerce but at least the tax is changing with seasons - same as food production :)
thanks for the idea :)

I think i'm gonna add tax changes to it, or maybe commerce rather :)

Wonderful mod, agree it should be in the base-game. Do you plan on keeping the welcome event for the mod forever? Out of principle it's usually nice to not have welcome events for every mod.

What about the tropical areas?(Egypt for instance) During winter time, their season is rainy. Shouldn't that increase food production for them?

Yeah, are you going to update this? Was one of the best mods about...

Any plans on updating this mod? it's a really great idea, thank you!

@SharSharrani - Thanks a bunch for the information, after a lot of searching for the mod files (which are REALLY buried, for some reason) I finally managed to find the mod in question and changed the lines manually as per your suggestion. Thanks again.

This is a great idea that, frankly, should be in the base game.

Also nice idea for a mod. I want to include it into my overhaul and credit you for it.

The different modifiers for floodplains do not trigger. This is because of the line "region = lower_egypt_region".Instead it should be "is_in_region = lower_egypt_region". I corrected this and now they trigger as they should.

Great idea. Still work with new patch?
Findan Dec 3, 2019 @ 2:33pm
is this compatible with save games that were started without the mod?
Basileus23 Dec 3, 2019 @ 10:51am
And so it begins...the inevitable 'wen mod update' after a new patch / DLC. So...when is this updated?
Magnar Nov 22, 2019 @ 3:00pm
mind if i add this to my Vae Victis mod?
PresidentStorm  [author] Nov 16, 2019 @ 7:30am
@Agamidae Oh, I'll check this out. Thanks for telling me.
Agami Nov 13, 2019 @ 6:19am
@PresidentStorm your on_game_initialized overwrites vanilla events, they are not merged. So your mod disables the starting events for Rome, Syracuse and a bunch of others. You need to include them.
Agami Nov 13, 2019 @ 6:18am
@SP, I'm calculating ~50 things every month for every province, for every pop, and in my measurements, it takes exactly the same time to process. A couple of people reported lag, but that's a couple out of 3500. The game can handle a lot.
Also, Storm's events run twice a year, not monthly.

Great mod, would be cool to try and simulate poor harvest seasons allowing for famines to occur too.
PresidentStorm  [author] Nov 11, 2019 @ 5:43am
@VityViktor Sure! Send them to me and I'll add them in on the next patch.
VityViktor Nov 11, 2019 @ 5:02am
Hi! I made a Spanish translation. I can send you the files and include them in the mod if you want to.

This mod reminds me...
ITS ALMOST HARVESTING SEASON
Lord Lambert Nov 8, 2019 @ 2:34am
Nicely done :)

Can't wait to give this a run later!
SP Nov 7, 2019 @ 2:47am
Adding seasons is great. However, have you considered the impact on performance? You are calculating 2 or 3 things per province (7000) per month (i did this a while back. It run smooth but i got worried that if i add other things on top of it, everything might get slower)

A great mod! I hope to see it expanded on in the future.

Well, actually, winter in Egypt and Tigris & Euphrates valley and so on was/is a harvest season, and summer is a drought season.
Omnes Omnibus Nov 6, 2019 @ 5:25am
