Did very minimal testing, but as it's a very simple XML mod, I don't expect any incompatibilities.

You should add "Sworn Brothers/Sisters" too. Because in history of China(in Three kingdoms era or some countries(include Thailand in past)) also do that too.

@TheStorySmith You can add more simple relationships by editing the XML at Defs/PawnRelationDefs. Make sure to make a copy of this mod and use that instead so that future updates don't overwrite your changes.

I've kept the mod very simple without any relationships that require the use of C#, but if you want complex behavior (such as gaining the relationships after certain events) you will need to learn how to do that.

Is it possible to add more like, for example:
Bad Parent where the parent and child in question hate each other.
Bad Breakup where they were lovers but now dislike each other.
The 'good' alt is seemingly the built in options.

Ex-Friend and Sibling Rivalry for more hatred.
Good Sibling as an Alternate good option.

To make it easier to input just have it available to everyone cause... Adoption I guess?

I'm hoping to make more complicated inter clan and personal relations.

I know its a long shot, but is there anyways you can point me in the direction of how to make a unequal relationship; like Parent to Child?

At the moment the mod only allows for equal relationships, and I wanted to create a Liege to Subject relationship for my medieval only playthroughs.

I've tried copying and pasting the Parent to Child Relation Def, and modified it to represent Liege and Subject. The text is available in Edb Prepare Carefully, but not selectable. Is there some C# coding I have to to do make it work? If so could you point me to the file, and I'll try and figure it out on my own, thanks!

As far as I know, this mod should be compatible with basically every other mod out there because there are no code changes. So if the mods are reading from the game's list of relations instead of hard-coding, it should work.

For now, it's just randomly generated unless you set them up with Prepare Carefully. It would take a lot more than just an XML mod if you want certain situations to cause relationships to form (this is what I mean by workers, and it is how the "lovers" relationship happens internally).

Very cool mod idea! One question though, can people get these relationships with other colonists like with lover, or is it only from RNG like with parents/children?
