Hey Mud, I have not tried but it is quite a simple mod so I would not expect a conflict.
Mud Jan 30, 2022 @ 7:57am
@peter is this DeI compatible?

I'm not really the person who wants historically inaccuracies when it comes to women as generals and politicians but if some people do then I don't see anything wrong in letting them have it

Imagine when you bring politics to a game mod..... bloody hell, Sometimes I wonder if some people can see behind "incels, rightists, lefttists and etc" and for once in your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ life, enjoy a game with its mods. Wanna play as female? No one could care less
thebiggestE Mar 13, 2020 @ 9:45pm
I have been able to upgrade any female characters

General Lancestrodamus: is this for all female characters who spawn or only those who start the game? Those who start the game cannot be upgraded but new ones who are born, hired or married to join the game can be upgraded the same as the male generals.

Hey my female generals can't be upgraded
Peter  [author] Feb 2, 2020 @ 5:41am
>INDIGO<|SPIRIT OF'69: That happens for the characters who exist at the beginning of the game. Any news ones born, hired or married will be able to be upgraded.

Could you somehow make a version for Divide et Impera too?

"History nerd" and use the trope "history is written by the victors", at the end if Carthage did really hace female generals we will know about just like tih Dido, Rome wouldn't hide them, they didn't hide Cenobia or Mavia, way less will they do it with someone of Carthage.

"If it existed we would know about it already" is kind of a weird mix between irony, fallacious thinking and naivity in light of the topic at hand being recorded human history. That being said I think everyone can settle on it being a mod for a videogame.

inb4 Incels and other rightist groups report the mod or do other ♥♥♥♥ cause they're easily triggered as always with these things.

cool stuff, always nice to have more options for campaigns!

WAHMEN. Feminism visits ancient Carthage... Thumbs down. 0/10 would not white knight again.

@Pharaoh please refrain from using the old trope "history is written by the victors". Also if Carthage had had any powerful female generals we would have known about it. Cathrine the Great isn't exactly a great example as she ruled Russia in a completely different historical period.
But that being said, the idea of having them in a mod for a video game is perfectly fine as it is after all just a video game.

Interesting. I am experienced in modding but never touched on enabling female generals. Is it just to remove that "family duty" trait? And what table(s) do you change that? (without touching startpos yes)
Pharaoh Oct 27, 2019 @ 7:02pm
as a hstory nerd i honestly couldent care less about the female leaders debate at this point just because we dont have evidence does not mean it could have been lost to time remember history is written by the victors
