Needs an update for Terrain update as ore can not be made in to ingot.

Ahh I ok. I usually go the the injection route(bepinex) as it allows you much better control. I can see the merit in doing it the way the game is meant to mod though, it is unfortunately limited.

Can't add new objects, can only change existing objects.
So it's using the unused waste ingot with some translation file edits to make it uranium.

Modding is very limited unless you go the unofficial code injection route.

Ya, the game should generate the new information page but ya, it just is not.

if you don't mind me asking... why did you choose ingot block instead of a rod? I think a rod of uranium would be more along the line of reactors and what not that it is probably going to be used in.

The game should generate the pages for the stationpedia automatically including those from mods.
But it's probably changed and broken.

So the recipe works but... again it doesn't show the change. I had to open the xml files to look into what temps and pressure range was.

To help others if they have the same issue.
Temperature: 1400 - 99999
Pressure:100 - 99999

The recipe doesn't seem to change? It tells me to put it in the centrifuge but you say it goes in the furnace. What temp/pressure ranges?
SGAMEZ Aug 25, 2023 @ 2:10am
hope u can look at it and it is possible. Thank non the less
Neouni  [author] Aug 24, 2023 @ 4:09am
This might be due a change in how they are handling stuff, might not be able to fix it with just the XML stuff.
SGAMEZ Aug 23, 2023 @ 10:08pm
Hey have noticed a bug where if u put uranium ingots in the machines to then eject it it turns in to regent is this fixable?
Neouni  [author] May 16, 2023 @ 3:46am
Not how the modding is limited currently.
Might be able to do it with bepinex etc, but that will require quite a few code additions.

Is it possible to make mod Uranium to be like Ice, except it just slowly releases super hot pollutants? Then you could use it with Stirling engines to make a jury rigged nuclear reactor.

I know that it's been in-game, yet useless, for a long time now. Even so, it's sad that we can't use/add prefabs. Who knows what kind of crazy things would be in the workshop :steammocking:

It shows how long this has been, since the xml format has changed, yet we still don't have anything vanilla using uranium.

It's like with Fusion power IRL.
Always thirty years away... :D
Neouni  [author] Jan 23, 2023 @ 2:30am
I was expecting this to become obsolete fast with uranium rods and crystals appearing in the game files.
But can't seem to use those items yet and nuclear power still seems as far away as ever.
x_blaster Jan 23, 2023 @ 12:15am
To be clear, I mean the author needs to update this ... otherwise it'll still show up as an "Ingot (Waste)"
x_blaster Jan 23, 2023 @ 12:14am
The Language xml has been updated:
It's no longer just <Record> but now a <RecordThings> for the key/value pair

Just to be clear: the Green Research Capsule uses this item.
I don't know of any 'official' way to create these.
Maybe I'm missing something but at least with this mod I was able move forward in research.
So thanks for the mod, Neouni. =)
Golden Dragon May 27, 2020 @ 10:24am
Research (green capsule) req uranium, but no reciepe to smelt it, lol
Kastuk Dec 15, 2019 @ 2:29pm
Cheaty Jigawatt Nuclear Battery now need it.
Neouni  [author] Dec 15, 2019 @ 2:26pm
Nothing requires uranium by default, but it has been available as a recipe requirement since the initial launch on steam.
This just fullfills those recipe requirements if people so desire to mod it in.
Once real uranium comes in I might just mark this as depreciated and remind the other mods to use core method, but who knows how long that will take
The KotU Nov 1, 2019 @ 9:50am
My Question is how this will affect things requiring Uranium?
Kastuk Sep 23, 2019 @ 3:15pm
For smelting you need to reach 1400 K in Furnace or just put into casual ArcFurnace.
Kastuk Sep 22, 2019 @ 5:02am
At last I can melt my favorite greeny torbernite!
