You'll have to test that yourself I'm afraid. As for the map, it's a duel sized map with room only for 2 civs.
SootCoot Apr 10, 2015 @ 1:31pm
I doubt this scenario works with celtic civilisations mod, it removes vanilla celts and add 5 celtic leaders instead. But can i still use the map? and is it a big map or tiny 2 player map?
Tucker  [author] Jan 23, 2015 @ 12:46pm
The Celtic are a part of the Gods and Kings expansion, do you have that?
amunoz Jan 22, 2015 @ 11:31am
I can't seem to use ANY mods that have vikings, norwegians, celts, danes, etc. Everytime I download these civs, and try to turn them on, I am told that I am missing this or that. How can I get this worked out? I have downloaded and paid for the Korean mod, Wonders mod, scrambled nations, etc. but no matter what I do, I am still unable to use ANY nordic civilization. Can someone tell me what is going on?

I actually just found the solution. When searching I found this:

///////////// Installation ////////////////
There is apparently a problem with maps loading directly from the mod, so, to install the map pack you need to:

- go to your civ 5 mod directory (for windows vista and up I think it will be in the "C:\Users\samwa_000\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS"

- copy/paste the maps you want from the mod into the maps folder (same directory as the MODS folder"

- play the game :)

This allowed me to find the map, select it and then back out and the load scenario box was then available to click.
Big Hos Jan 8, 2014 @ 2:35pm
@<{InterplanetaryNinja}> I have the exact same problem. Tried everything to no avail.
Tucker  [author] Jan 3, 2014 @ 5:34pm
I got BNW in the sales and can confirm that it's compatible with this mod, I started a new game with no issues.

If anybody is having trouble please make sure that you're selecting the mod in the mods section of the main menu, and then clicking next rather than going back to the main menu and starting a game from there. If you want to start a modded game, it has to be done through the mod menu - Not the single player one.
Tucker  [author] Dec 27, 2013 @ 1:03pm
I'll try to test it as soon as I can to make sure that the map didn't break with a civ update, but for now there's not much I can do. Hopefully BNW will go on sale soon too so I'll pick that up and make sure that it's not BNW causing the issue.
{InterplanetaryNinja} Dec 27, 2013 @ 7:21am
Having a bit of trouble with this map. While it does appear on the list of Mods, once its activated i can't find it on the map selection menu anywhere. I've turned off BNW to see if that was causing it, but even with only GNK activated the map still doesn't appear.

Is anyone else encountering this issue? Or does the mod author have any idea what may be causing this?
Tucker  [author] Dec 22, 2013 @ 5:20am
I'm hoping to pick up BNW when it goes on sale, I'll post back here as soon as I know.
Defund MakeAWish Dec 21, 2013 @ 9:09pm
This doesn't show up on my list of maps, but I've got it enabled. I also have BNW on. Can anyone confirm or deny if this is BNW compatible?

cool
FEAR Oct 28, 2013 @ 9:29am
ok
Claus Oct 28, 2013 @ 8:46am
My bad, I was going by the tile map you gave. I'll try it out later.
Tucker  [author] Oct 28, 2013 @ 4:29am
@Claus & andrewgr88
Did you actually play the map? There are plenty of rivers, including the Tyne/Thames/Avon/Trent and many more.
Claus Oct 28, 2013 @ 2:14am
Shame there are no rivers we have quite a few, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rivers_of_England , You basically can't move for all the rivers. A resource map would be nice too in the images.

Otherwise great job.
Tucker  [author] Oct 27, 2013 @ 12:53am
@Dalek
I don't have BNW uet so no. I'm still waiting for someone to confirm if this is compatible with it or not, though.
FEAR Oct 26, 2013 @ 6:38pm
where is the the river Tyne, Thames, Avon & Trent? :(
Ben Oct 26, 2013 @ 5:24pm
Is there a BNW version?
stranger Oct 26, 2013 @ 4:16pm
Splendid scenario. Thanks.
Tucker  [author] Oct 26, 2013 @ 2:09pm
Did you try what I suggested to him?
CopyrightedContent Oct 26, 2013 @ 2:02pm
I have the same problem as SuperGrover
Tucker  [author] Oct 24, 2013 @ 1:06pm
It's one of the options in the main menu, 'DLC' I think. I'll be able to check in an hour or two.
SuperGrover Oct 24, 2013 @ 11:06am
Yes, I'm selecting the mods from the mods menu. I didn't realise it was possible to disable BNW.
Tucker  [author] Oct 24, 2013 @ 8:47am
It might also be worth disabling BNW for a few minutes to check it isn't that preventing the mod from working, although I don't really see why it would.
Tucker  [author] Oct 24, 2013 @ 8:45am
Nobody else with BNW has got back to me on whether it's compatible or not, so there's a slight chance it might not be. Are you sure you're selecting the mod from the Mods menu, not Single Player?
SuperGrover Oct 24, 2013 @ 8:22am
I have BNW; if I install just this mod and no other, then load it, and go to advanced setup, the map does not appear (nor any other sign of the mod)
Ghostly Oct 24, 2013 @ 1:57am
Круто!
Tucker  [author] Oct 23, 2013 @ 7:23am
Glad to see you could get it to work, I'll put that link in the description in case anybody else has any issues.
sloany Oct 23, 2013 @ 1:13am
Thanks Tucker, unrarx doesnt work, but, found a solution here >> http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2917532
Tucker  [author] Oct 22, 2013 @ 4:40pm
I don't have any experience with macs so I can't help you much, but from a quick internet search it seems that http://www.unrarx.com/ is highly reccomended. You'll need to extract the folder inside and place in 'Documents > Aspyr > Sid Meier's Civilization 5 > MODS'.
sloany Oct 22, 2013 @ 4:06pm
How do i install this on my mac, I have read you need to extract it first, but, i get a fatal error using keka. can anyone help?
Tucker  [author] Oct 22, 2013 @ 11:46am
Try downloading the link for Mac users in the description. Assuming you're on Windows, unzip it and put the folder inside 'Documents > My Games > Sid Meier's Civilization 5 > MODS'.

@Tucker

Incase you want to see what I get

Gh0st Oct 22, 2013 @ 11:26am
@Tucker

Yeah I am. I can only see 2 mods anyway. Improved AI and really advanced Set up. I don't enable any of them they don't show up. If I enable 1 of them it don't show and both don't either
Tucker  [author] Oct 22, 2013 @ 10:55am
Are you sure you're selecting the map from the Mods menu, not the Single Player menu?
Gh0st Oct 22, 2013 @ 10:40am
@Tucker

I got Gods and Kings and that's it. I have no other DLCs
Tucker  [author] Oct 21, 2013 @ 11:57pm
@RedProtocol
I'll be getting BNW from the steam winter sale ^.^
Pwnz0r3d Oct 21, 2013 @ 8:02pm
She was actually Queen of the Iceni, which only controlled Norfolk. The Iceni were a Celtic culture, but there was no overreaching Celtic "civilization" like the game suggests, they were just a loose band of differing tribes.
Protocol Oct 21, 2013 @ 5:14pm
yo tucker... get BNW its amazing lol
Tucker  [author] Oct 21, 2013 @ 3:15pm
@MattyRasker
Well, she was Welsh but leader of the Celtic tribe, which covers Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

@Gh0stPred & aasails
What expansions do you have enabled?
aasails Oct 21, 2013 @ 2:43pm
ME NEITHer................??????????????
Gh0st Oct 21, 2013 @ 2:37pm
I can't get the senario to work. I have no mods activated and nothing is showing up. I did the advance options and that still don't work. What should I do?
MattyRasker Oct 21, 2013 @ 2:21pm
I never understood why they chose Boudicca + her capital as Edinburgh. Correct me if Im wrong, but she wasn't actually Scottish, her tribe (or rather her husbands tribe) originates Norfolk area and her uprising against the romans started in Colchester, just outside London.

Still, nice map.
eXecutable Oct 21, 2013 @ 6:07am
Nice map
Emily Oct 20, 2013 @ 6:49pm
i'll give it a test and let you know if it works then. thanks :)
Tucker  [author] Oct 20, 2013 @ 5:49pm
I don't have BNW so I can't test it, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be.
Emily Oct 20, 2013 @ 5:02pm
is this compatible with BNW?
Tucker  [author] Oct 20, 2013 @ 9:28am
I can't seem to get the Scotland Mod to work in the SDK so I'm stuck for ideas on a vanilla version. If anyone has any suggestions on how to make this map playable without GnK it'd be greatly appreciated.
Tucker  [author] Oct 20, 2013 @ 5:33am
If there's no Load Scenario option, click on Advanced Setup (Or something similar, will clarify later) and select the map from Map Type. Then click back and you should see the load Scenario button.
