An accordion is kind of difficult to rig with bones. The way the bellows move makes it so. Then there's the old just how many keys and bass key buttons do I add? There are SO MANY different types of accordions. LOL

If the models downloaded they’ll be in your game\workshop\models folder in the folder path in the includes statement above and will be called trumpet and trumpetbb. If you have trumpet models named the same in folders paths in a higher priority mod folder then these won’t show up.
Hyoi Oct 9, 2019 @ 5:05pm

I've been searching for this forever!
THAAANKKSSS ALOOOTTT!!!!!
Pte Jack  [author] Dec 13, 2013 @ 2:39pm
I forgot to update the update... Model is now uploaded. When you subscribe you will now get 2 models, one named trumpet.mdl (the original with the 2 original skins) and trumpetbb.mdl. The trumpetbb is the one with the expandable bell, I did this just so that I wouldn't screw up anyone's scenes where they used the original. The trumpetbb has the 2 new shiny skins.
Pte Jack  [author] Dec 9, 2013 @ 7:34pm
Quick follow up gang. The model is complete and I've added some more realistic skins, but I'm having problems render the scenes I'm using it in. Renders are freezing, so I'm suspecting that it might be a command I'm using in the vmt's that is causing problems. I thought I was going to be able to have it up tonight, but I won't post it until I get a good render using the new model. Stand-by to stand-by. If you want to see what it looks like, check this out. It will be the promo if I get this thing to render.

Sorry Reshot the promo and added it to the promo bar above
Chaofanatic Nov 12, 2013 @ 5:49pm
No, I just thought it'd be a really useful thing to have. Thank you very much!
Pte Jack  [author] Nov 12, 2013 @ 5:48pm
Did you need it for a Saxxy Entry?
Pte Jack  [author] Nov 12, 2013 @ 5:48pm
You mean something like this Chaofanatic???

http://youtu.be/xD309xVyNeo

Wait for the Saxxy's to finish and I'll post the change file.. I don't want to risk anyone's videos with an update because the sliders have changed.
Pte Jack  [author] Nov 7, 2013 @ 8:55pm
Understood, hmmmmm
Chaofanatic Nov 7, 2013 @ 7:32pm
Like just to make the very end of the opening wider. Like in cartoons and such where the bell of a horn actually gets wider the louder the sound coming out is.
Pte Jack  [author] Nov 7, 2013 @ 7:03pm
Kind of hard to make a flex to do that with the various restriction placed on flexes. The other questions that comes to mind are what part of the bell, and how large?
Chaofanatic Nov 2, 2013 @ 6:20pm
I hate to ask this, but would a flex to make the bell larger be a possiblity?
Jer Senpai Oct 30, 2013 @ 3:18pm
OH MY GOD!!!!! I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A TRUMPET FOR SFM. A MILLION THANKS!!! :D (as a trumpet player im really happy as you can tell)

"toot" your own horn :P
Pte Jack  [author] Oct 21, 2013 @ 1:20am
Sorry to hear that, what is is you don't like? If it is the materials, like I said you can always make your own. Brass and gold are hard to duplicate via vmt.

If you want to delete it, then just unsubcribe, SFM Workshop ask if you want it gone and delete it for you. If you want to give making new materials for it the model lives in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\workshop\models\trumpet folder and the materials in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\workshop\materials\models\trumpet folder.
