WARNING: This mod seems to be incompatible with respec potions. I have experienced crashing with two different Ethereal Blade characters when trying to assign points after using a respec potion, and I see from some comments in the Bug Reports section here that others have had the same issue.

For this latest character of mine, the potion worked fine for reassigning 5 points from Focus to Dexterity, but when he leveled up later, I could not assign any points without crashing. After many attempts to fix the issue, I have decided this is probably just a serious incompatibility. I will add this message to the Bug Reports discussions, as well. If anyone comes up with a fix, please let us know.

Techniques could be a cool ethereal weapon bender a la mage tree, where you summon weapons to aid you in battle whether its weapons from fallen enemies who now woke up to fight on your side or you conjure weapons from thin air to fight out enemies. I think even adding summon type where you, for example, summon a bow which replaces your equipped weapon so you can switch in and out with different types of weapons to aid you in battle

Or just conjure weapons, just like unlimited arsenal, where the weapon shaped skills attack enemies

A lot of to think about but technique definitely should be reworked and reimagined

@Fidelis It's great You've managed to figure it out. Overall dealing with multiple mods can be quite an ordeal, You never know how some of those may influence each other.

As for the builds themselves, the class was made with 2 main paths in mind - either duals or two hander, with a sprinkle of middle tree which has magical based skills rather than DPS ones.

Even though this tree has more-or-less 3 (4 counting riposte) offensive skills, and while those can deal quite a substantial damage with the right stats and skills chosen for it, the cooldown may prove for the build to be diffucult to operate.

I haven't tested it this far, but I wanted player to have a more streamlined experience, because even with passives reduced to 10 points, You still have limited choice when it comes to maxing desired skils for yourself - and I wanted to make all of those viable at any aprt of the game.

@Gurei: I was worried about the flagged status, but I finaly decided to use the console.

I used 'RESETSTATS' to reset the Stats to 0, and used 'STATPOINTS 415' to add 415 Stat points for my level 76. It worked like a charm ;).

Im back on the rail and Im really happy.

Currently brainstorming for a dual wielder, trying to choose between physical or magical. If you have some advices about it ;)

Once again tremendous work, the gameplay is really involving and the sfx and sounds are top notch. Only bad sides are the no compatibility with 'Enhanced character customisation' and no 'Rapid Respec'.

@Fidelis Hi there, I'm happy that you're enjoying the mod, although its hard to really tell what can be going on with the stat potions - I personally wasn't using them whatsover.

On the side note - I kind of endorsed using T2 Essentials (because I played through the whole game with it while testing the class, and it presented an experience very close to vanilla) but I cannot vouch completely for Synergies (tested in on start, but not very in-depth, but I've read that it tends to cause some compatibility issues with custom class mods).

As for helping you with the stat problem - have You tried to decrease those using commands maybe? (idk if its possible though) I know there are some commands to completely reset your character to level 1, so maybe then giving yourself sufficient XP to make up to those levels alongside normally gained stats would be possible to do?

Hello Gurei, can you help me please?
I really enjoyed your class but I did a mistake, I used Essential + Synergies like you adviced. The problem is I drank too much Stats potions, I thougt it was part of Synergies leveling logic. But now there is no more interest to continue playing, I am rolling on everything.
I would like to loose these stats. I tried Restats potions, but they do, ex: '-5focus +5stats', Im looking for something like, ex: '-5focus +0stats', I can't find a mod for this. And T2 Rapid Respec can't read my Etheral Blade file :/

Do you know how to change this please? I am level 76 and I would like to get back on this wonderful class.

@DeLaCreme It is a common issue with lots of class mods, just download this mod ant put this at top of the list, it should work, it replaces the quest rewards the generic items so you can progress onward in game:

Is it expected that quests won't reward you with equipment? Like, in the first ever quest there's literally no rewards for me, and furthermore I can at max take pet item-equipment as reward from quests.

@marnid I'm glad You like it, although I didn't have much time to update (mainly because i feel mods TL2 seem to die out or smth, idk) but sure, if You want to use it then knock youself out, You have my permission. I can't vouch for it to work in multiplayer and/or with other total conversion mods that have custom classes though.

I would like to inform you that I use your mod as a base for my (personal)mod.
I search for a knight mod that close to knight from Ragnarok Online(huge HP,fast moving,some synergy bonus from HP, etc.) but there is none. So I need to create my own with little knowledge and I can't do it from scratch.
Finally, I found your mod. It's not close to what I need but active skills are just so good, Blackend and Arsenal are two of the best skill in Torchlight2.

Do you mind if I upload it to steam for easy sync with other computer?

@NerDean9001: I'm happy You like it, but as for level up crash I sadly can't think of anything. I did some research some time ago, and apparently lots of class mods had this problem when played in multiplayer, especially so with conjuction of overhaul mods like T2 Essentials that do not seem to go well in multiplayer by itself with lots of players.

Class mod itself is good in singleplayer - it was tested mutiple times on vanilla game (with cheat code) leveling up to 100 and there were no issues. I also played through NG0 up to 51 lvl and everything was fine.

But then again, I can't exactly vouch for multiplayer.

hi gurei i like your mods and there is a chance you can make a saitama from one punch man class all is stats are infinity he haves infinity hp infinity dmg is own skills and he haves infinity% dodge infinity% protection and skyrim saitama model and insane speed and is skills is like 100 squats 100 pushups and 100 abdominals and limit break ,can you?

@Max: I'm happy You like it. As for Juggernaut - it's not a bug, Juggernaut gives character chance to passively deflect missiles - but it's chance is calculated on Your OVERALL Vitality - the more VIT you have, the bigger the chance (information is in skill description). Increasing Juggernaut level gives more Vitality:Chance ratio.

Meaning i.e. 10 Level Juggernaut will give bigger chance to deflect with, lets say 100 VIT, than Juggernaut Level 1.

this char is very fun to play. For now its balanced and skills usefull. Cooldown skills makes the game more strategic, with berserker you can play only with wolfpack( no cooldown) and passives if you want, boooring. Ive found a bug, juggernaut change to deflect missiles only applies +1% change. The rest works very well

@moranacus004: No, very few of those, only 3 skills overall (Cross Edge, Thundering Cleave and Carnage Split). There will be tooltip skill information with red font that says: "Requires Target".

@moranacus004: Are You sure? Thundering Cleave wasn't really touched, so it should work normally, it does require a target (and equipped 2H sword/axe) so You need to first manually select an enemy and use the skill.

I will check this when I'll get back from work, because I will be honest - I tested practically all skills except this and Cross Edge (I was rushing to get this update live).

I created a character but the Thundering Cleave skill isn't working. It says that it requires a target but when I'm fighting a monster it still doesn't work

Also, If you want to use this class along with Variant Classes mod, You just need to set this mod above Variant Classes in mod loader - it will replace Elemental Blade Dancer class though, but will still be fully playable along with variant classes.

@ Cedix: I'm sorry, what exactly you meant by that? Class is fully playable with Synergies (tested recently) and T2 Essentials (I finished whole NG run myself with it).

As for Variant classes mod there may be issues with it because it is a class mod compilation pack in itself, and IIRC it contain Elemental Blade Dancer class with which this class mod is not compatible.

Okay, It seems this mod is not compatible with Elemental Blade Dancer class mod as for now, maybe we have named our unitypes the same, or some other stuff that may cause a conflict.

I will add this information to the description and will try to find a fix in the meantime, thanks for the info!

when i try to make a new character (with no other characters present), it shows up as "elemental blade dancer", has no icon, and when selected, makes the character invisible. What's going on??
