I absolutely love the standardized look for ERE. Would you ever consider using the helmet from Radious Total Unit mods that is used on the Legio Palatina - Primari? (I've been trying to upload a screenshot but can't figure it out)

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bro, This is the best Re-skin for the ERE I've ever seen. It may not be Historically accurate but it brings Grace, Power, and Terror to the Roman Units. Please make more skins to the cavalry and skins on the WRE next. Other than that, this is truly a magnificent work.

@Moriarty yea, the only addition is the arm armor, I couldnt really do much else for them, and I didn't want to hold the scale armor until all the way in the last upgrade.

amazing reskin, any plans for WRE ?

I have to say, in my oninion this is the best reskin of the ere on the workshop. The units look organized and proper, the armor is super fresh and I must give this a 10/10.

my apologies, i was not sure what those were more to the truth i did not want to be dissapointed this game has a few years under its belt after all most of my favorite mods have been abandoned.

@velveteen if you look at the last 2 photos you can see that indeed I was working on a WRE reskin.

@Mrduck14 I have stopped playing total war but I may find myself back to it. One issue I ran into was that the game reuses unit cards and some units between both west and east so unfortunately changes I make to one would also show up on the other so you wouldnt be able to cleanly use both together.

i can't imagine a WRE version is being worked on or ever was duck.

Absolutely cool mod. I think you need to continue work on this mod and improve the evolution of army, but primarly add reskin to every troop in army- you will get even more subscriptions. Thank you for mod.

@Rayson that actually is kind of the point with this particular mod. They are supposed to end up looking like they have a standard issue uniform across entire army.

Its not a huge problem since the tech tree will retrain these units anyway

Yup, so the problem is those units, unlike most units, dont have a unique "variant" where there is a "Cohors_w" and a "cohors_e" so as a result my edits applies to those few western units that dont have unique variants... its a shame, because I dont think theres a workaround.

@Vasyaevich does this also change their model in battle? Or is it just their unit cards?

The ones affected were the top left units (first two). This can be seen when selecting WRE units in custom battle.

@Vasyaevich which units? I believe I saw that WRE uses a couple of the same units as ERE but I don't think I edited them. It will, however, replace the unit cards for the units both WRE and ERE uses since for whatever reason the unit cards are shared, however it doesnt mean the unit itself is replaced.

The mod seems very nice. Unfortunately, it replaces, as far as I can see, two units from WRE.

@adrian2b There are several mods that give the WRE units from the ERE you could try.

@Dimych177 agreed, but this is trying to achieve the look of the later byzantines. Funnily enough the kite shields and the cross design are both in the game already I just used them.

good mod, though kite shields and Orthodox crosses are not quite correct historically, just because of ERE campaign start year

Either a full reskin of WRE units with new armor of your creation (But it's a lot of work I know) or a full reskin of WRE units converted to Byzantines maybe

@Duke sure, feel free. I tried to make a historicalish reskin by making the tunics red, brown, gray and white as well as giving helmet variation but I drifted away from it.

It is a Great mod, but i was trying to improve your work and had some results. Can i send to you my version of this mod. May be you like something of my efforts.
