Great mod, works for me perfectly. I amended it a bit to include like tourist center and oxford uni. Question though - would you know how to remove the icon from the technology that shows the wonder? i.e. Archery shows the Temple of Artemis but you're not able to build the temple.

TL:DR = mod removes the actual wonder, but can we also remove the icon for the wonder in the technology tree.

Doesn't work with both expansions.

Hello, is there another way to download this mod? I am not able to download it through the workshop. Would you be able to upload it somewhere else? Your answer would be much appreciated, Ragnar.

Does this work with private multiplayer games

Did you load the savegame *after* going through "mods > accept > next > singleplayer" in the menu? Otherwise you loaded the savegame without the mod activated, I think. Most modsaves crash if you try that, but this one might not.

this worked at first, but when loading a saved game (without having ever deactivated the mod) all the wonders became available, and the AIs went on a mid game wonder spam fest! wonders ruin civ 5, hope this will work properly soon.

You have to subscribe to it and enable it under mods in-game to download it.

Steam says I'm subscribed but it doesn't show up in my mods list or mods folder. Does it only work for multiplayer or something?

Nothing, unless it also works on national wonders. Same for marble and the tradition and religion bonusses for wonderbuilding.

What happens to Egypt's Bonus?

A much needed mod, for certain. Too often, I am at odds with myself about whether to build a city building or (yet another) wonder. So many times, my cities suffer because of this. Thank you!

Oh, this is a sight for sore eyes. Now I can create personal maps on the World Builder in the future era without the AI building stonehenge, great lighthouse, etc.

Thanks for this mod. I have allways felt that my games have been to focused on wonders.

Some thoughts. To disable wonders from other mods, you will likely have to edit the <BuildingClasses> table with an <Update> with the condition that MaxGlobalInstances="1". Then it will probably work if the update either sets MaxGlobalInstances to 0 or DefaultBuilding to "". (The latter is used by the game for <Civilization_BuildingClassOverrides> at least. You could also try setting it to NONE, which gets used in <UnitClasses> once.)
Still, even if this does work it will only override mods that were loaded before this one.

I don't know why but I seem to have an obsession with building wonders. No matter how much they don't really help me or what I always focus on building them and end up with too many buildings unbuilt or an army the size of a fly. :Uranium:

Hopefully, this will solve my problem as I've actually been wanting a mod like this for awhile.

Yeah, I realised that too. Well, you could make this work by replacing the original game files (only one if you're playing vanilla), but doing that on all the players´ comps is a hassle. (and maybe steam will detect that and see it as chaeting or something, no idea)
HiddenSquire Oct 15, 2013 @ 12:39am
Until some recent updates, the "multiplayer" option under the mods submenu didn't even appear. I was excited when it was added, but it seems it's strictly for playing custom maps. Other mods don't work, that I've seen, so far.
scottkbeers Oct 14, 2013 @ 11:55pm
cant use mods in mp wish u could.
[-HEL-] Ragnar  [author] Oct 14, 2013 @ 10:01am
It doesnt work in MP? This is a very simple mod, no reason why it shouldn't work in MP. Never tried to play MP with mods before. Will try to test later today. Well, first attempt at modding, so 95% of the time im just making sense of what im seeing. So this is also a test of sorts to get me into things.
scottkbeers Oct 13, 2013 @ 12:58pm
hmmm yah i guess!!! but hot seat would be the only play for this mod!! wich may be cool to try!! be realy good if you could work it for multy player, just for something dif.
[-HEL-] Ragnar  [author] Oct 13, 2013 @ 12:43pm
I agree that it makes for a bit of a dull game by comparison. However, if you've ever played a MP game where the other four players alternate in snatching up all the wonders, you start getting ideas like this. ;-)
scottkbeers Oct 13, 2013 @ 11:32am
Dumb idea lol!!!!
