i wish this worked so bad. but i guess i can just pretend that hyperlanes only exist between a tiny fraction of systems so the map doesnt depict all the milllions of inaccessible stars. copium

this mod is generating some completely empty and dark systems near the middle of the map, wondering if its a bug or intended

What would be cool would be like... a specific origin or just planet setting in the mod to spawn in the very center. Like in another mod there's "Sol Domed" and also base game "Sol", "Deneb" etc. A "Sol Center" "Random Center" would be a cool addition and fit with the premise of the mod

I don't know exact cause(mod/conflict) yet, but my game crashes whenever I enter system view in hostile_cluster_04 and hostile_cluster_06. Please share any idea on what's wrong.

this mod seems to have locked my world gen type to "broken cluster" and won't let me change, even resetting to default doesn't do it.

I have an idea for you: Incorporate the Jump Gates mod and the Hyperdrive Rework mod into this.

The jump gates help explain why everyone is "trapped" within this pocket of the galaxy, while the Hyperdrive Rework mod means ship jump instantly instead of spooling up, but it is the travel time which takes a month or so. You can adjust the flavour text of the Hyperdrive tiers to be something about adjusting the ships to be more adapted to the jump gates, so travel through it's wormholes quicker.

The Jump Gate mod apparently needs to be made compatible with the current iteration of Stellaris, while the Hyperdrive Rework is being beta tested for 3.7.4.

Should make note in the description that this disables the L-Gates from spawning so we know to disable them in the game creation so we don't get a bunch of dead techs/events :B

Hi Annatar,

I'm a fan of this mod, it makes playing on smaller galaxies feel more immersive (i always felt like ~800 stars in an entire galaxy did not make sense). I was wondering if the "galactic core" has the bug where empire's borders disappear, I noticed that I could not see my territory in the center of the map and I figured this had something to do with how there are no stars represented in the vanilla galactic core.

@[FD] Tomatohead The essence of fashion is simple. This mod makes the appearance of the galaxy so that it does not look like a galaxy, but just like a part of space. The arrangement of the stars is also more chaotic.

I find it difficult to understand this mod. In the description you say Stellaris Gameplay and "technically" only on small maps. So with this map I play on a small area of space, that is near (on the shoreline of) other chunks of space, and, they,,,,, can't ineract with eachother but that makes it better apperently. And the background is uglier and mostly blackness with the milky way because reasons...

My brain isn't entirely comprehending what the goal and true impact of this mod is. It looks hecka interesting but I am just not getting it.

I would love to run Wild Space 3 and Star Cluster together. Unfortunately Wild Space 3 seems to overwrite the galaxy texture with the classic core pinwheel, ruining the Star Cluster experience. Load order doesn't seem to matter. Is there any chance for a compatibility mod?

Very beautiful mod! However, I have the same problem as Tse_Tsing, although I am also using UI Overhaul Dynamic. It only seems to occur in the galaxy view. A little off-putting but this hasn't stopped the mod from quickly becoming one of my favourites. :)

Hello, apologies if this has already been asked.
With the Gigastructural Engineering mod, an event to locate and spawn the galactic core has a conflict with the generation of this mod, as in the stars take up the same location in the centre of the map. I understand having a 'galactic core' goes against the premise of what this mod tries to achieve, but I was wondering if a compatibility patch/mod option exists so both can run in sync? It would be much appreciated!

Nice work... This might be a bug: background textures continually twitching/rolling when I open 'Ship Designer (F9)' manual at galaxy map. Hope we can figure it out.:brownchicken:

@UNSCSpartin Not really. CoD will overwrite some scripts and textures of course. This will mainly affect the visual part only. Although in fact it will already devalue this mod. You will see the galaxy even though it shouldn't be. In addition, the Star Cluster already includes skyboxes from CoD. I don't know the reason why anyone would need to use both of these mods. It makes no sense.

so if i had star clusters load before colors would i still get the cluster? I imagine colors is just overwriting texture files?
