I cant get anything to connect to the cargo bay

Its the best SSTO I've flied
hizokuto Apr 16, 2023 @ 2:22am
After about 4 years I got curious about KSP again now there's KSP2. Really stable design that isn't easy to accidentally flip and tumble with over pitching. Combined with the documentation I skimped on reading, ascent is pretty reproducible.

我总是起飞不好,这个角度控制MJ有地方控制么?我20次可能才有一次飞起来

@samuel dungjen
Considering Mechjeb will install itself on any capsule and probe core, then as long as you control from the right place (as mentioned in the description) then it should be.

However, it's my experience that Mechjeb is awful at trying to fly spaceplanes, so taking it up under your own control is probably a better idea.
Samuel Jun 19, 2020 @ 5:17pm
is this compatible with mechjeb?
Juggernoob  [author] Mar 31, 2020 @ 8:02am
Thanks a lot, so glad it works for you!

A true masterpiece in design and functionality.
Well done! :D
Now I can truly build space stations I couldn't launch without cheating.
Juggernoob  [author] Nov 21, 2019 @ 12:10pm
Do you mean the robotic arm shown in the screenshot needs DLC? If so, yes it does, but it isn't included in this craft file. Or do you mean something else?
Samuel Nov 20, 2019 @ 2:57pm
you lied this is not stock it needs a dlc
Juggernoob  [author] Oct 26, 2019 @ 11:18am
That's really my great pleasure.
Game0ver2013 Oct 22, 2019 @ 10:28am
This is really my all-time favorite SSTO according to design and ease of control.
Juggernoob  [author] Sep 22, 2019 @ 5:56pm
As for the proposed passenger version, I find it frustrating to re-connect all those components and re-adjust everything, guess I'll just build a new passenger SSTO instead.
Juggernoob  [author] Sep 22, 2019 @ 5:51pm
Congrats that you made it! I encounter this glitch mainly after craft switch, but sometimes they also just happen with no apparent reason mid-flight, I guess it has something to do with my overheated computer (reduced CPU power), but I'm not sure
P s y c h o Sep 22, 2019 @ 9:04am
Got it tho, finally.. just wondering if u have any ideas :)
P s y c h o Sep 22, 2019 @ 8:52am
hey @Juggernoob.. Trying to launch this, and I get the aero glitch 9 out of 10 times o.O any reason this would happen that much? =/
Arctic Sep 12, 2019 @ 3:19am
you just gave me a idea
Juggernoob  [author] Sep 8, 2019 @ 1:38am
Many folks ask for the mods, so I just wrote a quick FAQ in my profile summary thing
riker12345678 Aug 31, 2019 @ 8:25am
what are the mods used? and may i have links to them?
Juggernoob  [author] Aug 27, 2019 @ 6:38am
Thanks and glad you like it!
- A passenger variant sounds exciting, especially since it would be my first time EVER to seriously use Mk3 crew cabin in my design...The tricky part is that most of its components are attached onto the Mk3 cargo bay which is the root part. It would require quite some work to re-connect them. I'll upload that variant when I finish.
- rebells_red.one, I'm really happy to see your review and good experience with this craft, cheers!
janus Aug 24, 2019 @ 2:29pm
THIS IS AWSOME
rebells_red.one Aug 24, 2019 @ 4:43am
Juggernoob, congratulations on a superbly done job. What an awesome flying machine!

I just took this out for a spin the first time ever. Flew it to an 80k circular orbit with fuel to spare, dropped the dummy cargo, turned around, returned to KSP and landed it there. Hardly had to use the engines in the landing either. Due to no fault of yours, there was precious little runway left though.

You should be proud of this!!!

I reported you all for stalking. I hope you know what are you doing :)
Zerody Aug 21, 2019 @ 4:26am
Is there a passenger variant of this? This looks like space tourism gold.

Rademenes thats from stormworks and tempest is a common name for vehicles, the RAF has a 'tempest' plane in WW2

Rademenes16 get back under the bridge and eat the goat quietly.
visualpizza Aug 20, 2019 @ 2:52pm
Rademenes16 can you show me proof that the creator of that Ship you linked to has the rights to the word Tempest? Or are you just a fucking retard?
Naoned Aug 20, 2019 @ 1:47am
Great design!
potential energy nonbeliever Aug 18, 2019 @ 7:08pm
Have to say, the solar panel glitch indicator is pretty clever.
Juggernoob  [author] Aug 18, 2019 @ 5:05pm
- Thanks, glad you like it!
- ...hmmmm well, name of this ship is stolen form the English name of a kind of weather condition on the planet earth. However, I'll be truly impressed if someone else already has the idea that TEMPEST = Transatmospheric Express: Multi-Purpose Economic Space Transportation. I'm quite happy about this XD
Toastedbush Aug 18, 2019 @ 3:33pm
I don't think it's stolen, it's just a common name...
konstantynopolitaneczka Aug 18, 2019 @ 12:53pm
name of the ship is stolen from other workshop

Juggernoob  [author] Aug 17, 2019 @ 4:52am
Thanks a lot mate, it's nice to know my effort is noticed!
DarthStarFish Aug 17, 2019 @ 12:13am
80 omg... Duud, you are like, a Kenious! Okay, experienced and driven, at least. I was drawn in by your description of the drag glitch indication solars, and then I read your craft-manual... your're attention to detail in providing us all of your experienced insight is very professional... before I have even experienced your design. Thank you, Sir!
Juggernoob  [author] Aug 16, 2019 @ 6:27pm
- My pleasure!
- A pure RAPIER SSTO is not meant to go far. With 54t payload it won't fo any further than 300x300km. If you enable the fuel supply of this payload, it will have 2km/s dV @ LKO and may make it to Mun/Minmus/Duna/Eve when flied carefully - but in this case it carries almost nothing useful other than the 6 crew members. Orbital refueling is another way to extend its range.

But anyway, it's a LKO heavylift vehicle and is never meant to go far. Nuclear spaceplanes are better options if long-range matters.
glorp Aug 16, 2019 @ 10:00am
How far can this go from LKO?
BeepBoomBang Aug 16, 2019 @ 8:06am
这飞行指南太详细了吧,很强
Game0ver2013 Aug 15, 2019 @ 4:23am
No need to apologize, I like them.
Juggernoob  [author] Aug 15, 2019 @ 12:50am
- Lol! My apologies for reusing these design aspects again and again, I have to innovate moar!
- You're welcome, hope it helps!
Dota GOD Aug 14, 2019 @ 10:03pm
thanks for the great write up on how to use the craft
DowenCo Aug 14, 2019 @ 4:41pm
this is a beautiful ship and not only is it usable it's fully operational and you've gone above and beyond to describe escape and landing procedures. i may be a fairly new player to KSP but i know this is good
DowenCo Aug 14, 2019 @ 4:38pm
BY JOVE HE'S GOT IT!!
Game0ver2013 Aug 14, 2019 @ 11:44am
I sometimes wonder how many times similar design aspects can impress me XD
