Because of the ambient occlusion map for the weapon's original texture. The AO map for some weapons (including this one) makes it so that certain areas appear darkened. We unfortunately are unable to modify the AO map.

I had the blue stripe towards the end of the barrel to emulate the blue stripe above the holes on the flashbang.
