Game won't load into an actual game with this enabled. The minute I disable this mod it loads fine though

looks like Pisa is configured to have the harbor as a "PrereqDistrict" which under the covers makes it a part of the harbor district (which means interactions with harbor buildings also affect Pisa as well, like being able to buy it with faith and getting bonus production to build it)

i guess that is how Deliverator23 was able to macgyver a way to have a wonder with 2 district requirements

to fix this bug, maybe grant an adjacency bonus to harbor if Pisa is next to harbor instead of making it a "requirement" or remove the city center adjacency requirement and use the harbor instead?
BigGamer9211 Feb 15, 2023 @ 7:02pm
You should make a Topkapi Palace World Wonder.
marius8990 Jan 8, 2023 @ 11:05am
Weird interaction: When something else gives me the ability to buy Harbour buildings with Faith (like the Apostolic Palace from the National Wonders mod) I can buy the Leaning Tower with Faith, too. The model is then placed smack-bang in the middle of my Harbour ^^ The tower is listed as a Wonder for the city but it doesn't need its own tile, it's just part of theHarbour now.
ReboundBosh Dec 11, 2022 @ 3:21pm
FYI I've come across a weird bug wherein I am getting a 50% production bonus to the Leaning Tower in all but one of my cities.

I've loaded and re-loaded a bunch to experiment with this -- if I use a Great Engineer, I get +50% more production than expected. No policy cards (though I tested with Gothic Architecture too, and that boosts stacks).

In all my cities except one, the time to complete the Leaning Tower is 2/3 of the turns Taj Mahal or St. Basil's (other 920 production wonders) would take.

The one city that doesn't get the boost doesn't have a Shipyard, but other cities without a Shipyard do get the boost.

It's extra weird to me that it is happening in all cities EXCEPT one. There's nothing special about it, except that the city itself is NOT founded on the coast. Could that be it?

(The Tower itself does not need to be built on the coast to get the boost).

Hope this helps!! Great work all around (pun not intended). Thanks so much!!

Wait. 6 Doesn't have Pisa nor fuji? This is preposterous. Thank you for fixing this.
Frank Savage Apr 23, 2021 @ 12:21pm
Otherwise good mod thanks
Frank Savage Apr 23, 2021 @ 12:21pm
Yeah I havent seen the 25% combat experience work ever
Ramon Apr 16, 2021 @ 9:51am
The pressure of tourism has unbalanced the construction.
Nbyrd291 Mar 25, 2021 @ 9:39am
This was one of my favorite OP wonders for having a crazy naval game. Now its meh. I wish the old version was still available.
Litcube Mar 22, 2021 @ 9:53pm
Is the +25% combat experience an ability given to the trained unit? If so, I don't think that part is working.
MarsEco Feb 21, 2021 @ 7:08pm
Thanks for the clarity!

@MarsEco: Wonder to City Centre and 6 tiles as in the Leaning Tower is zero, then up to 6 tiles away counting outward.
MarsEco Feb 11, 2021 @ 6:55pm
CAn't wait to try this. Is it within 6 tiles aka 5 tiles away or 6 tiles away? And are we counting city center to city center or Wonder to city center?

v1.3
* Effect update to: "Harbors receive an additional +1 Gold from each adjacent District when the City is within 6 tiles of the Leaning Tower"
Huitzilopochtli Feb 10, 2021 @ 10:25am
This was my favorite wonder in Civ5 just because it is cool and inspired Bugatti, so it's good to have it again.
MarsEco Jan 21, 2021 @ 2:09pm
I'd maybe consider if it's gonna be ALL city's Harbors reducing it to +1 gold from each adj district. Considering it has the 100% city Tourism bonus in the Modern Era, and 25% XP Naval Units from this city too. AS well as, a little Culture and Faith (can't even remember if it has Engineer or Admiral Points too..)
MarsEco Jan 21, 2021 @ 2:07pm
I have been using this mod lately again, and it's still as OP as i remember having this next to the City is easy enough, but it's so easy to get a regular +5 Harbor, but then with the 1.5 extra gold to this and ALL other Harbors it makes that Harbor like +9.5 in total at least, and of course does it to all your other Harbors. If you do the double adjaceny Policy and you get a Shipyard, that's 18 gold AND 18 production, which is super strong especially on Naval games. Harbors are already very strong atm, especially considering the Policy card that give +30% construction to the District and their buildings. It can be a bit broken to have this and set up amazing cities quickly around the map by pushing out a Harbor and it buildings up to shipyards.

@Deliverator23
Is Description of wonder in this page right?
I think it need updated about grassland, plains.
antoine.ride Apr 13, 2020 @ 2:11am
I would like : Our Lady of the Trinity cathedral (Laval), Collegiate church St Tugal, Our lady of Cordelier church (Laval), Our Lady of Avesnières Basilica,
Geminus Leonem Apr 6, 2020 @ 8:44am
For some reason I can buy the Leaning Tower of Pisa with faith when I am in a Golden Age with the "can buy stuff with faith" bonus. It then appears on top of the Harbor for some reason.

Also, opening the civilopedia page on the Leaning Tower of Pisa crashes the game.

Also, I can only build it on non-hills tiles even though there is no such mention of it in the description.
xxx78 Mar 28, 2020 @ 7:57am
Very nice mod, thanks for sharing :)
One problem: When i try to open it in civiliopdia the game crash every time. I can read the text for the wonder in the techtree.
mattheuslemehirt Jan 16, 2020 @ 1:38pm
Such a beautiful work and a true masterpiece... But why make it so overpowered? I can't even play a match with my brother if this is on!
ParasaurEwan Jan 8, 2020 @ 6:56am
could you please do the Freedom tower/1 W T C? It's Technology is telecommunications.
Its only requirement is being next to a Commercial Hub. That's it.
Losanguinos Nov 29, 2019 @ 8:59pm
Great wonder, but it prevents roads and railraods from drawing on that tile
Lirandiel Nov 22, 2019 @ 6:48am
thx u so much for ur work :steamhappy:
Huitzilopochtli Oct 19, 2019 @ 11:41am
Thanks for this vital wonder and I like the way you did the bonuses for it.
Science would be weird for sure cause a laboratory would be a disaster with all the chemist equipment sliding off the tables and out the windows to shower down upon tourists.
Gabriel Oct 16, 2019 @ 11:30am
Thanks for the response and the update. As always, great work in all those wonders.
Deliverator23  [author] Oct 16, 2019 @ 11:07am
@Gabriel: Porcelain Tower is now updated so this issue should be resolved.
Gabriel Oct 16, 2019 @ 9:11am
Ok, found it.
It's a actually a typo in Porcelain_Tower_Gameplay.sql:

INSERT INTO Building_ValidTerrains (BuildingType, TerrainType)
VALUES ('BUILDING_LEANING_TOWER', 'TERRAIN_GRASS'),
('BUILDING_LEANING_TOWER', 'TERRAIN_PLAINS'),
('BUILDING_LEANING_TOWER', 'TERRAIN_TUNDRA');

INSERT INTO Building_YieldChanges (BuildingType, YieldType, YieldChange) VALUES ('BUILDING_PORCELAIN_TOWER', 'YIELD_SCIENCE', 3);
Gabriel Oct 16, 2019 @ 9:07am
Yes. Found those:

@Gabriel: Any errors in the Database.log? Can't see any errors with the update.
Gabriel Oct 16, 2019 @ 12:20am
@Deliverator23, it looks that after the update, no bonuses to harbor adjacency are being applied.
Also, it was allowing the tower to be built in tundra.
Kentravyon Oct 14, 2019 @ 7:42pm
Wow thanks a lot for that, looking forward to contesting it in our next run!
Deliverator23  [author] Oct 14, 2019 @ 7:51am
v1.2
* Removed Great Merchant/Engineer Points and free Trade Route effects.
* Must now be built on Grassland or Plains.
* Add missing Adjacency Text Description.
* Fix Fog of War graphics.
Queennoobi101 Oct 10, 2019 @ 10:30pm
btw the tower of piza was an engineering mistake. you should make it the tower of piza and only have A CHANCE for it to lean
Queennoobi101 Oct 10, 2019 @ 10:29pm
a little op but who cares?
Deliverator23  [author] Oct 9, 2019 @ 2:14am
@Lord Kentravyon: I'm up for nerfing it a bit. I might lose the great people points as you suggest.
Kentravyon Oct 8, 2019 @ 7:05pm
I really like this wonder and appreciate the naval maritime Republic of Pisa theme you went for.
However I do feel like it just does... to much. Your mod and you do you, but unfortunately for me I play mostly multiplayer and can't run this one as is.

Personally feel like I would remove the tourism buff, to keep the focus on the maritime aspects. Alternatively the great people points as they just seem minor compared to the rest of the wonder.

Really the Tower is a symbol of the prosperity and power of the Republic of Pisa which was a maritime merchant and military power more than it has any particular religious significance so I've effectively made it a Republic of Pisa Wonder. More interesting this way. The Tower even has boats carved on it. Pisa was one of the four famous Maritime Republics with Venice, Genoa and Amalfi. I can understand a weak argument for it being a Religion but Science would be weaker still. The story about Galileo probably never happened.
Sad Horse Sep 7, 2019 @ 3:55pm
Interesting idea, great model, but the effect doesn't make sense. Seems both too strong and not relevant to the actual tower (no science?)
Kaitax Aug 14, 2019 @ 3:40am
Model is awesome.
But effect is way to powerfull
Deliverator23  [author] Aug 14, 2019 @ 2:50am
@qiuwdatusa: I think you may have confused Sketchfab with Sketchup. Sketchfab is a 3D showcase platform and store - generally the models there are not free to download. Sketchup is a tool that can be used to make 3D buildings. I've seen antonmoek's stuff before and it is nice although slightly too cartoony and mobile-gamey for Civ VI and not free in any case. The Sketchup 3D Warehouse is the main source of free 3D building models although most of these are made in a style that is too photo-realistic for Civ VI. With some work the higher quality ones can be adapted which is what I've done for Abu Simbel.
GLORIA VINCIT Aug 13, 2019 @ 3:47pm
@Deliverator23: just looking at Moda's Huge Earth Map Pack Middle East Map Huge, I came up with an idea to do with tower bridge that would not span over two continents. He made the Nile River 1 tile wide so that you can place bridges across it. We can still have the Tower Bridge in game but what people do is up to them... with a good map it can have good visual and practical effects
GLORIA VINCIT Aug 13, 2019 @ 12:35pm
The last link got removed... I was talking about antonmoek on Sketchfab
GLORIA VINCIT Aug 13, 2019 @ 12:34pm
it is nice you'd ask, I found a way to vote at the end and I voted for Horyu-ji, Tower Bridge and Brandenburg Gate. I would also like to suggest Yingxian Pagoda (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pagoda_of_Fogong_Temple) , Hanging Temple (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanging_Temple) , Wat Pho (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wat_Pho) , the UN, St. Peter's Basilica, Humble Administrator's Garden (as a part of Suzhou gardens; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humble_Administrator%27s_Garden) ...
I feel that China and Japan, and rest of Asia are under represented in Civ 6.
Btw, I found this artist whose art style is very close to that of Civ 6 (https://sketchfab.com/antonmoek) maybe you can collaborate with them?
