Slow Go
Speed Converter
Turns Shotspeed and Speed into raw tears, leaving behind a measly 0.25 Shotspeed that can be regained, and half the speed that one originally had. Item is a one-time use, and dropping it (such as with tainted Isaac or D4) does not give back shotspeed and speed nor remove tears gained from it. Of course, if you find another one... somehow, the whole process can be repeated again.
Also removes the AI of Death's Heads and spike wheels while worn, wow! Could this be sneaking gameplay?
Also an idea for Double Pain
Double Pain
Double Gain
Room Drops and Drop chances Doubled. Damage Taken also doubled.
(I know both are completely antithetical to the original Paper Mario Idea but C'mon. This is a mod about adding badges from a 21 Year old game into a slightly younger game of a kid suffocating to death in a chest. Both badges even had some niche uses back there. Not so much here.)

so this is caused by something in super appeal not working with glass form caused by Repentance + with Repentance plus you can have glass forms of items which if player takes 1 whole heart can dupe an item including ped items.

Sorry this took so long; the mix of "I lost interest in Isaac modding", "my Isaac modding knowledge is rusty", and "I've been busy with other projects" is a dangerous combination that resulted in me basically working on these updates at a snail's pace. But it should all be good to go now!
Let me know if you run into any more bugs.

When I start a new run, my game crashes and I find these in my game log.
@ToxicBoo Oh, that's a problem. I'll look into it.
Specifically, there was an issue with removing items from the item pool via the Mod Config Menu settings. The game crashes if it tries to remove an item that's already been removed, which it tried to do every time a new run was started for the first time upon opening the game. And since Double Pain and Slow Go are disabled by default, this bug occurred by default.
@Dr Logan: To be honest, I'm pretty much retired from Isaac modding, with the exception of fixing problems in existing items. Though I might eventually update the Smash Bros. soundtrack mod at some point for Repentance (no promises).
Still, just because you can't do it doesn't mean someone else can't. Mayhaps you can find a good spriter who can replicate the style were looking for...?
@Dr. Logan: “including the extra white outline”
No thanks, I’m trying NOT to remember the Sticker Star trilogy :^)
(also, an MS Paint hat is the extent of my artistic ability)
Make Isaac look stylistically like a Paper Mario character. including the extra white outline, instead of just giving him a cap when he gets the Paper Isaac transformation.
It would be rather neat that way.
Chill Out (immune to damage for the first couple of seconds of entering a room)
Close Call (Doesn't he count as having half a heart?)
Double Pain (no drawback, still counts towards the transformation)
P-Up, D-Down (since he can't take damage w/o his Holy Mantle, lest he die, anywho...)
Super Appeal (see P-Up, D-Down)
- Added two new badges: Double Pain and Slow Go
Aside from counting toward the transformation, all they do is make you take double damage and cut your speed in half respectively. They're joke items, just like in their respective games. But if you don't like them, don't worry; they're disabled by default and have to be spawned in via console, though you can use Mod Config Menu to add them to the Treasure Room pool.
I basically finished these badges about a month ago but never got around to uploading them, so here they are!
Fire Shield and P-up D-Down are cool. :D
Also Return Postage is MUCH better in this mod then in the actual game LOL. XD
Cause I thought it only hurts direct attackers, but projectile users too, now that makes it hella better!
Now if only Slow Go! and Double Pain badges would have a good application to them...
As in, buffing them like Return Postage got a buff. :3
Double edged sword items is nature of isaac, so why the heck not. ;)
- Added four new badges: Chill Out, Fire Shield (trinket), P-Up D-Down, and Return Postage
- Added the option to disable certain items from spawning via Mod Config Menu (thanks, Nato Potato!)
- Added Mod Config Menu options for Bump Attack (change safe bump and bump-kill values to anywhere between 0.01x~1.00x DPS), Chill Out (change invincibility time and enable/disable on-screen icon), and Return Postage (change damage output)
- Added new challenge and reworked old challenge
- Changed some item pools and updated some item pool rates to match official items
- Assorted bug fixes (see change notes)
I've also finished standalone versions of each item, so I'll upload them sometime today.
